Unlike what we had in the previous years of Warzone, the developers are showing big hearts to the old weapons in Season 1, allowing one of MW3 SMGs to surpass most of the Black Ops 6 weapons in terms of power and mobility. Currently, you can even use some of your previous MW3 loadouts and do just fine in Warzone Season 1, but the Striker is just on a whole another level.
Striker and WSP-9 Dominate The SMG Meta in Black Ops 6 Warzone Season 1
If there was a way I could add some of the MW3 guns to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies, I’d grind any levels it takes to get them. Striker, WSP-9, and even Superi-46 are so smooth in Warzone meta right now, which is odd. For instance, the 46 headshot damage of Striker is just so damn OP while none of the Black Ops 6 SMGs has that power. Want better? The WSP-9 has 54 headshot damage!
This is all while you can customize the MW2/MW3 weapons with more attachments and customization options to fine-tune them while if a BO6 gun has horizontal recoil, all you get is the Vertical Foregrip and Recoil Springs. Now I’m not saying that Black Ops 6 guns are helpless in Warzone Season 1, but the way that the Striker is simply one of the best SMGs in the game feels like a huge nerf is coming later this year. However, now that we still have time to enjoy the Striker meta, here’s the loadout I’ve tested which has the least horizontal recoil.
With 48 round magazine and a good damage range, this Striker SMG build is best for your sniper loadouts in Warzone Season 1. You could also go with the No Stock attachment if you’re confident in your aim, but it’d only ruin your horizontal recoil control.
It’s worth mentioning that some of the other MW3/MW2 weapons in other categories are still as powerful, if not better. For instance, the useless LA-B is now a one-shot sniper rifle; who’d have believed that? This damn rifle wasn’t meta in its own game’s Warzone year cycle!
Overall this whole situation is a bit suspicious. It could be the Warzone Season 1 Reloaded or maybe Season 2, but the current MW2/MW3 guns will eventually get nerfed just like every other year with Call of Duty.
