Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans have heard a lot from Mary Cosby about her falling out with Meredith Marks. But now, the ice queen herself is responding to the noise.
In case you missed it, Mary slammed Meredith in a recent interview when asked about their friendship. “I feel like we’ve been on a slippery slope since I’ve bonded with Angie [Katsanevas],” she said. Cosby and Katsanevas surprised everyone in the Bravosphere during Season 5 of RHOSLC. After butting heads the year before, they somehow worked through it and now have a thriving friendship. Although Meredith has not said explicitly that this bothered her, to her co-stars, that’s what it looked like. “Meredith is the type of person who likes to be in an alliance with someone,” Mary explained. “And if you befriend that person that she doesn’t like, she kind of pulls away from you. And that’s what happened.”
However, according to Meredith, Mary’s claims are not grounded in truth. “That is not true,” Marks wrote on X. “I don’t care who is friends with who. Never have. Never will.” Fans responded to her post, saying they didn’t agree with her statement. “Your response in the episode says different,” one user wrote. (In last week’s episode, Meredith chose to leave Mary’s Audrey Hepburn-themed event because she felt Mary was choosing Angie.) Someone else chimed in, too, saying Meredith constantly tells “lies.” They continued: “Be honest with yourself first; the rest will fall into ‘reality.'”
Meredith Is Feuding With Whitney Rose on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
Mary Cosby isn’t the only Housewife who Meredith Marks has a problem with. It’s been well-documented that Marks and her co-star, Whitney Rose, have had an issue from the beginning. Each season, it’s something different. And this year, they’re feuding over who stole the other’s idea to create bath bombs first. (Yes, extremely silly.)
Because the season is currently playing out, fans had to get to the bottom of their beef during the Bravo Fan Fest, which occurred this past weekend in Miami, Florida. Tons of Bravo stars were there, including Meredith, and she spilled some tea about her relationship with Whitney.
In a now-deleted clip, when Meredith was asked about her relationship with Whitney, she revealed she was not sure how to move forward with her. The reason why? Well, Marks claimed Whitney had her and her entire family blocked on Instagram.
Whitney responded to the video. “She is lying,” she wrote on X. “I only blocked her to see if the excessive trolling would stop, and it did.” She continued, writing that she follows Marks’ husband, Seth, and her son, Brooks. “She wishes this was a diss.”
There are still plenty of episodes left in Season 5, and based on Whitney and Meredith’s recent comments, it doesn’t look like they will resolve their issues by the end. Thankfully, fans have the reunion special—which always brings issues to the forefront—to look forward to.
