Sister Wives fans have taken to social media to discuss one of the many crazy things Kody Brown has said. Viewers have seen Kody drone on about money lost for 19 seasons. However, they are tired of seeing his “nonsense.” Here’s what has them questioning Kody’s sanity now.
‘I’d Have Saved A Fortune!’
In a recent Reddit post, Sister Wives fans shared a moment of Kody Brown in a previous episode of the TLC show. The photo showed Kody in a confessional where he is saying that he could have stayed in Las Vegas. “I’d have saved a fortune!” he exclaimed. Fans are calling b.s. on this claim though.
First, Kody made the choice to move to Flagstaff from Las Vegas. All of the wives, save for Robyn Brown, were against the move. In reality, whatever troubles awaited him in Flagstaff are his own fault.
“Kody just spews nonsense to hear himself talk,” one Reddit user commented. Another agreed, “HE was the one that insisted they move. HE is an a**wipe of a man.”
A third person chimed in, “They left Vegas because Kody was bored, impulsive, and needed a new bit of drama in their lives. Arguably, it could’ve been the series was hitting a stale point and perhaps he thought by relocating they could keep the show going longer. Well, it worked but at the expense of his family.”
Kody & Meri Brown Moved 19 Times Before Flagstaff
Of course, this isn’t the first time Kody Brown has been called out by fans about his comments regarding money. Long-time viewers might remember in Season 4 when Kody told Christine Brown that if she wanted a vacation she could save her grocery money.
Wanting a vacation certainly isn’t too much to ask, especially when you are a mother of six. One fan pointed out that Kody Brown always had money for things he wanted. For instance, they had money for him to travel while courting Robyn Brown. In fact, when it came to Robyn, Kody always had extra money all of a sudden. When Christine wanted to visit her ill father, there wasn’t any money available to allow her to take the trip.
Let’s not forget about all of the other times he’s uprooted his entire family to relocate. One Reddit user pointed out that Meri Brown moved with Kody 19 times before they settled in Flagstaff. Janelle Brown had moved about the same amount. Considering moving is one of the most stressful events you can go through, 19 times seems a bit absurd.
At the end of the day, whining about money hasn’t done Kody any favors. He now only has one out of four wives, which has to be a “knife to the kidneys” for the TLC star.
