While she has two milestones to celebrate, her fans are more concerned with giving the pop star her flowers. Spears and Asghari began their divorce process when he made the filing last August.
The model moved to end the marriage after 14 months, citing physical assault as one of the reasons. Spears, however, protected her assets during the marriage by signing an ironclad prenup agreement. The prenup left Asghari with almost nothing, although she settled his rent a few months after he left their home.
Per TMZ, the star began an on-and-off romance with her landscaper, Paul Soliz, after Asghari’s exit. The actor has also moved on to a new relationship with Brooke Irvine. Britney Spears Settled Final Round of Child Support Payments Last Month
Spears’ birthday comes a few weeks after she and her ex, Kevin Federline, reached a crucial child support agreement. We shared that the former couple agreed she would stop paying child support on their two sons in November. The two sons initially lived with Federline, and Spears coughed $40,000 in child support payments. It was, however, reduced to $20,000 after their first son, Sean Preston, clocked 18.
The agreement comes as their second son, Jayden James, prepares to join Preston. The timing of the agreement also aligned with James’s graduation from high school. Spears has also reportedly been spending quality time with James as he joined her in California. A source noted that “everything is moving in the right direction,” and the singer is happy with James around.
It remains, however, unclear if James is living with his mom in her $7.4 million mansion in Thousand Oaks. As for Preston, he has reportedly chosen to remain in Hawaii with his father and his new wife. The boys and their dad moved to Hawaii in 2023 after Federline’s wife got a job offer. Spears also consented to the boys moving to Hawaii despite not being on talking terms with them. Interestingly, Preston and James reportedly initiated contact with their mother. The boys made the first move by wishing Spears a happy Mother’s Day via phone call.
Federline’s lawyer described the action as a good sign, adding that the boys had their dad’s full support. As for the cause of their problematic relationship with Spears, James and Sean blamed it on her wild side. James revealed back in 2022 that they believed she dropped provocative pictures for attention. Despite their reservation about Spears’ public conduct, James noted that he wished to sort things out with her.
