Kim Kardashian’s Skims flagship store had its grand opening in the Big Apple on Thursday, Dec. 12. Since it was a big night for her, the reality star couldn’t pass up the opportunity to attend the event. She flew from Los Angeles to New York City to celebrate the opening in person. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Kardashian did it all on a broken foot.
The entrepreneur was photographed leaving the new retail store with the help of a mobility scooter. She rested her injured leg on the scooter while using her other leg to wheel herself around. Despite her situation, Kardashian didn’t let that stop her from making a fashion statement. She looked beautiful in a cream-colored leather jumpsuit and matching heels.
Yes, you read that right. Kim Kardashian refused to ditch her heels while navigating the streets of New York City on a broken foot. After witnessing the lengths she would go to for the sake of fashion, fans couldn’t help but praise Kardashian for her dedication. “I wish I had her work ethic,” one person said. “This life was made for Kim! She always shows up,” another fan wrote. “This is what strength looks like,” read another comment. One fan even crowned her “woman of the year” for her commitment.
How Did She Break Her Foot?
Unfortunately, the story behind Kim Kardashian’s broken foot remains a mystery. The star shared a photo of her injury on her Instagram Story earlier this month. “FML broken foot for the holidays,” she wrote alongside a picture of her in crutches. She added Fergie’s “Clumsy” over her Story, hinting she may have taken a tumble recently. Considering she was pictured riding an e-bike in heels just a few days prior to her post, it’s possible she suffered an accident during her drive.
