We’ve seen aimbots, wallhacks, and super speedy cheaters in Call of Duty in the past years, but Black Ops 6 Zombies wonder weapons in Warzone? Come on Activision! It almost feels like the Ricochet anti-cheat system is doing more damage than good these days.
Originally reported by Charlie Intel, the video below shows exactly what it means to bring the Beamsmasher to Warzone. For those unaware, this is a Black Ops 6 Zombies wonder weapon… in Warzone! Adding insult to injury, the cheater is also using an aimbot to take down a flying target in a second. So painful.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 patch notes have a separate part for the Ricochet anti-cheat system, providing details on how it’ll defend the servers on Ranked Play. Ever since then, I’ve encountered more cheaters and players utilizing the controller aim assist on their mouse and keyboard input in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. This is all while Black Ops 6 is outselling every other game on in October and November 2024 U.S. charts, except for the EA College Football 25, of course.
Frankly, it’s frustrating to watch an amazing game like Black Ops 6 ruined by hackers owning Multiplayer and Warzone right now. On top of that, there are also bad server issues and so many bugs involved that have led to a former professional Call of Duty player leaving the game.
The fix is something I’m willing to get a full season with no content if done: Upgrade the anti-cheat system or at least change it if it doesn’t work, and buy good servers for Warzone and BO6. Hit reg is my main opponent in the game as it happens more than a few times while playing the game for a few hours. Sub-optimal, Activision!
