Britney Spears‘ son, Jayden James Federline, is apparently her mini-me. After getting together with her youngest child on Christmas, the singer gushed over their heartwarming reunion on Instagram. Since they hadn’t met up in so long, Spears was surprised to discover how much Jayden has become like her over the years. While they may share some physical similarities, the thing that makes them so alike is their shared passion for music.
Is Britney Spears’ Son Jayden Pursuing A Career In Music?
On Tuesday, Dec. 21, Britney Spears shared a new Instagram post featuring Jayden James. A trio of photos showed her son taking a breather during a recent hike. He wore a red t-shirt, baggy jeans, and white sneakers for the outing. He also appeared to be holding an energy drink in one hand. To go along with her post, the pop star wrote a sweet message for her son expressing how much their reunion meant to her.
“Mine forever !!! It’s weird we’re like twins but he’s a boy and I’m a girl !!!” Spears said. She revealed that it’s been about two or three years since she last saw him. After finally getting the chance to talk to him again, Spears couldn’t believe how much more mature Jayden has gotten. “I’m in shock !!! He came back and he feels older and smarter than me !!!” she told fans. “He’s a man and I cry everyday of my life because of the miracle and genius he is !!!”
Britney Spears ended her post by hinting at Jayden James’ musical abilities. “When he plays the whole earth shakes !!!” she wrote.
She didn’t explain further. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jayden decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps and pursue music. After all, Jayden and his brother, Sean Preston Federline, have witnessed their mother’s singing career since they were kids.
Before the pair became estranged with her, Jayden and Sean got to star in Britney Spears’ “Ooh La La” music video. Apart from that, they were also surrounded by music due to their father Kevin Federline’s career as a rapper, dancer, and DJ.
Have They Officially Reconciled?
Things definitely seem like they’re looking up for Britney Spears and Jayden James. The mother-son duo reunited for the first time in years earlier this month. The singer revealed on Instagram that she and Jayden celebrated Christmas together. She was so overjoyed to see her son again that she called it the “best Christmas” of her life. “I’m speechless thank you Jesus !!!” she wrote alongside a video of her and Jayden.
Hopefully, Britney Spears and Jayden James have more chances to reunite in 2025.
