The Real Housewives of Dubai‘s Caroline Brooks has spent the first days of the new year slamming her former co-stars on social media. In case you missed it, Andy Cohen, the show’s executive producer, recently announced the network would pause the Dubai iteration for “business” purposes. The international series featured several women, including Caroline Stanbury, Chanel Ayan, Lesa Milan, and, of course, Brooks. The show ran for two seasons, but the cast couldn”t find their footing among the audience. However, according to Brooks, that could’ve been due to their inauthentic relationships.

Caroline Brooks Goes Off on Her Former Co-Stars in Twitter Rant

I agree about showcasing our luxury lifestyle. I wish they showed more of our work lives for those of us who actually work. As for friendships, this cast wasn’t really friends. Some bonds developed through the show, but it was a tough journey. 😊

On January 1, 2025, Caroline Brooks posted about The Real Housewives of Dubai‘s cancelation on X, formerly Twitter. In her post, the reality star seemed grateful Bravo decided to axe the two-season wonder. She painted the series in a negative light, calling it “toxic” and “overly orchestrated” while also slamming her cast mates for concealing their “true identities.” Brooks continued, saying the Real Housewives “should be authentic, not forced.” In a separate post, the realtor-turned-television personality seemingly voiced more frustration with what producers decided to show on the air. Caroline, 36, agreed with a fan, saying she wished they showed “more of our work lives” and “our luxury lifestyle.” However, according to her, neither of those things would’ve helped the show in the end. “This cast wasn’t really friends,” she said. “Some bonds developed through the show, but it was a tough journey.”

LIKE MOVE ON! All the circus acts they are doing to impress a network that isn’t impressed is EMBARRASSING! 🥴🫠 Prime example of why I said what I said on New Years.

In November 2024, Andy Cohen announced the network would be pausing Dubai after two seasons. “It’s just smart business,” he told People at the time. “We have a lot of Housewives going right now. … We just want to make sure we get everything right and be very deliberate with everything we’re doing.” On social media, Caroline Brooks addressed the cancellation and fan concerns that she was “bitter” about the move. “Quite the opposite,” she replied. “I’m relieved they pumped the brakes because it just didn’t feel right. Pulling the plug was the best decision.”

However, Caroline may be the only one who feels that way.

On January 2, 2025, Brooks spent part of the day debunking rumors from her former cast mates that the show would return in the future. After her Season 2 frenemy, Taleen Marie, said the show wasn’t canceled, Caroline popped back, telling her to “MOVE ON.” She went on, slamming the “circus acts” who are “trying to impress a network that isn’t impressed.”

Could Real Housewives of Dubai Ever Make a Comeback?

Currently I wouldn’t want to but maybe long into the future. 🫶🤍

— Caroline Brooks (@caroline_dubai) January 3, 2025

Is it possible that The Real Housewives of Dubai could come back in the future? Possibly. However, in the past, whenever Bravo has paused a freshman show, it hasn’t returned. (Kandi and The Gang, Real Housewives of Dallas, Family Karma, and Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard are prime examples.) The network has other shows, including Real Housewives of New Jersey, on pause right now. However, their pause is due to casting, whereas Dubai’s is related to production. Despite the hiatus, though, Caroline revealed she isn’t sure she would’ve been up for a third season anyway. “Currently, I wouldn’t want to, but maybe long into the future,” she said.
