NeNe Leakes has her fans riled up after teasing that she may be returning to Bravo. In case you missed it, the reality TV star has been the talk of the town for the last week. After Wicked star Cynthia Erivo gave the Real Housewives OG a shoutout on the red carpet, TV lovers just can’t stop talking about her. Last week, NeNe ran into TMZ and shared her candid thoughts about possibly returning to the Atlanta iteration of the Real Housewives. “If the opportunity was right and the check was on point, why not?” she said. Now, in a new interview with Tamron Hall, Leakes, 57, said she and Bravo have reconciled and are currently working on projects together.
Could NeNe Return to the Real Housewives?
When NeNe appeared on the Tamron Hall show to promote her podcast, Me & My Homegirl, the TV legend spoke about her relationship with Bravo. “We’ve ended all of those things,” she said, referring to her former discrimination lawsuit against the network. “We’ve moved forward.” Later, she teased her future partnership with the network, saying they were “dating slowly.” She continued: “I am doing some things for NBC; I will be on the After Show for the Oscars,” she said.
Then, when the conversation shifted to NeNe’s return to the Real Housewives, the blonde beauty said the door may be open. “If they called, I would answer,” she said. “I would have to hear what they have to say.” She went on to say that she’ll see “what happens” in the future. “I wonder if I went back over there, would they all beat me up?” she joked.
Fans React to Nene Saying She’s Working With Bravo Again
After the clip of NeNe Leakes saying she’s working with Bravo again went viral, fans began sharing their excitement about the heavy hitter’s return. “That would be amazing,” one person wrote on X. “Omg, I’m gonna cry,” another wrote before saying, “It’s really gonna happen!” A third fan seemingly agreed, writing, “Oh, I’ll definitely [be] tuning in to see NeNe.”
However, not everybody was excited to hear about the Bravo OG’s possible return. “Nah,” one user wrote. “She got a big head and completely burned that bridge.” Another critic also chimed in, saying the show was “lackluster” when NeNe was on it. “You can only watch the same people bicker but so much,” they wrote. “Even if she does come back, it will not revive the franchise,” a third commented.

While Bravo fans eagerly await a NeNe Leakes return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta, they can also tune in to her new podcast. The reality star recently announced that she’s launching the Me & My Homegirl show on January 16. She’ll be joined by Love & Hip-Hop star Sierra Gates, who promises to bring a “hilariously candid, raw, and relatable” production to audiences everywhere. “Sierra and I connected through our mutual love for fashion, love, and life,” NeNe said in a press release. “Our bond was so undeniable from day one, and I can’t wait for our fans to come behind the velvet rope with NeNe and I to get our unfiltered commentary on everything from love, sex, culture, trends, entertainment, and even politics. It’s going to be juicy and spicy,” Sierra added.
