It seems Khloé Kardashian is playing with fire in Season 6 of Hulu’s The Kardashians as she is set to reunite with her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, when the show returns in February. However, we don’t think she’s fully aware of the nasty thing her former spouse did a few months ago that got people talking online.
Khloé’s Encounter With Her Ex-Husband
In the all-new trailer for the upcoming season, released on Friday, Jan. 17, Khloé drops a bombshell on her mom Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian in one scene as she shares with them an unexpected encounter she had with someone from her past.
“You guys are never going to believe who I met with,” Khloé leaned in as she teased her mom and sister. Kim, who couldn’t resist her curiosity, quickly asked, “Who?” Then for some dramatic effect, the trailer cuts to a scene showing a mysterious man’s foot stepping out of a car. Before his face is shown, Kim gasps in her confessional, “This is insane!”
Moments after, the mystery man enters the house, and the camera reveals him to be Odom, holding a bouquet of roses. The clip then jumps to show Kris overcome in tears in her confessional, telling the camera, “That was the love of her life.” Her voice breaks when she adds, “I am devastated for my child.”
However, fans shouldn’t expect a fairytale reconciliation between the former spouses. In a voiceover, Khloé makes it clear where she stands: “I don’t know this person anymore.” She also yells moments later, “It’s the truth! The truth hurts one time. A lie hurts 7,000 times!”
Khloé and Lamar’s whirlwind romance started in 2009 when they tied the knot after just one month of dating. Though their marriage ended in divorce in 2016, not before Khloé stepped in as his legal caretaker after his near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel.
Lamar’s Obsession With His Ex-Wife
The former couple’s reunion is set to play out on-screen — but behind the scenes, Lamar has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Back in November, the former Lakers player, 45, made jaws drop when he admitted to commissioning a custom adult toy designed to look like Khloé in many years.
“It’s sick, but I think we’re all a little off, a little weird,” Lamar confessed during an appearance on the We’re Out of Time podcast. He revealed that the life-sized doll was still being crafted at the time, adding, “They’re gonna make it to look like her. I need, like, a harem!”
If that wasn’t bizarre enough, Lamar doubled down on the idea, claiming the doll was somehow “important” for his mental health. When host Richard Taite asked, “A sex doll that looks like your wife is about mental health?” Odom coolly replied, “For me, it would be.”
And while Lamar assured fans that Khloé “cares about me” despite their estranged relationship, his actions paint a much different picture. His manager, Gina Rodriguez, told TMZ the retired athlete visited RealDoll’s Las Vegas facility during his birthday celebration to place the order.
The specifications? A doll with “voluptuous curves” and facial features resembling the Good American founder. Odom reportedly couldn’t contain his excitement, telling his team he looked forward to being able to “do whatever he wants with her sexually.”
It’s unclear whether Khloé is aware of her ex-husband’s unsettling purchase or if it will come up during their on-screen reunion. For now, fans are left to wonder: Will this former couple’s reunion reignite old sparks — or will it fizzle out under the weight of Odom’s latest antics?
