  • How To Start the Lion’s Crest DLC Quest
  • Chapel in the Rocks Treasure (Dagger & Gauntlets)
  • Wolves Den Treasure (Coif, Plate Legs, and Caparison)
  • Vidlak Pond’s Treasure (Plate Sleeves)
  • Zhelejov Bath’s Treasure (Brigandine)
  • Nomad’s Camp Treasure (Bascinet)

Those who pre-ordered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will get a lengthy quest leading them to the Lion’s Crest DLC armor. This armor set is one of the best that you can get in the early game. However, finding every piece of the set takes a lot of time and will have you explore almost every nook and cranny around Trosky. But if you manage to follow all the breadcrumbs, you’ll encounter some interesting loot for you and your trusty steed.

How To Start the Lion’s Crest DLC Quest

Before you even attempt to get the Lion’s Crest DLC armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you must grab the quest. Again, this is only available if you pre-ordered the game, but thankfully, you can start searching for this set as soon as the world opens for you, which is after the “Laboratores” quest. To grab this quest, head to the scribe at Troskowitz, and you’ll get the riddle that will lead you to the first treasure location. However, instead of talking about the riddle, we’ll jump straight into the locations of every armor piece. Also, we recommend starting this quest once you begin the “Back in the Saddle” quest because you get a free horse, and exploring the map will be much faster.

Chapel in the Rocks Treasure (Dagger & Gauntlets)

The first clue of the riddle will tell you to head north after leaving Trosky castle. To save you some time, below is an image of where you have to go exactly.

From the main gates at Trosky Castle, ride north, past the forest, and then you’ll see a steep hill. Go down and you’ll find a small cave leading to a hidden chapel.

Once you approach the chapel, you’ll get a prompt to “Push it aside.” Press it and the screen will go black for a while before unveiling the treasure.

Opening the container will show the following items (we only listed the important ones):

  • Brunswick’s dagger
  • Brunswick’s gauntlets
  • Framents from the Bible (Skill Book)

Most importantly, you’ll get Brunswick’s Map I, which leads you to the next location.

Wolves Den Treasure (Coif, Plate Legs, and Caparison)

The next part of this treasure hunt will take you to a wolves’ den to the north of Tachov. You can see the exact location in the below image.

To reach it, just head north from Tachov and keep following the road straight. You’ll eventually reach a fork in the road and a forest to the left. Get off your horse here and work a bit to the northwest, and you’ll find a cliff overlooking a wolves’ den. Defeat the wolves and head to where the two trees are to find a sack containing the loot.

You’ll find the following items inside the sack:

  • Brunswick’s chainmail coif
  • Brunswick’s plate leg armour
  • Brunswick’s caparison

And, of course, the next clue for yet another location you must visit.

Vidlak Pond’s Treasure (Plate Sleeves)

You’ll find the next treasure not too far from where you found the second one, thus getting you closer to the full Lion’s Crest DLC armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This clue is quite easy, and you can start from Tachov and ride all the way to the east. The location you need to watch out for is Vidlak Pond, which is a small settlement that also has a fast travel point. You can use the below map as a reference for the settlement and the treasure’s location.

Reaching the spot where the treasure is will be tricky. For starters, it is on a cliff with three crosses near it. However, reaching the actual cliff will be the hard part. At Vidlak Pond, walk to the north until you find the following outhouse.

You have to walk past it and enter the small path where the fallen log is. Keep following the path until you reach the top of the cliff and find the cross that is furthest to the right.

Be careful when climbing the rocks because it is easy for Henry to fall down and meet his end. Just to be safe, drink some Saviour Schnapps. Assuming you reach the cross safely, here is what you’ll get:

Besides the saviour schnapps and a few bandages, you’ll also get another treasure map that will send you near the Zhelejov baths.

Zhelejov Bath’s Treasure (Brigandine)

For the next part of the Lion’s Crest DLC armor quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you must head to Zhelejov, more specifically, the baths out of the town. Once you’re at the bathhouse, head toward the first bridge and cross it. Then, walk toward the other bridge covering the river and cross it, too. However, you must turn right here and follow the path until you see a log that creates a bridge across the river. When crossing the bridge, you’ll find a hidden path, like the one you can see in the below image.

You must keep walking until you find a small hill with a tiny entrance that leads to a tree with a skeleton. Below is the exact location:

Besides the sword (which isn’t part of the quest), you’ll get the following:

  • Brunswick’s Brigandine (Plate Armor)

And, as you expected, the last treasure map.

Nomad’s Camp Treasure (Bascinet)

The final piece of the armor set is located at a treasure hunter’s camp to the northeast of the Nomad’s Camp. By now, you should already know how to get to this camp. If not, take the southern road from the Zhelejov’s bathhouse and then turn west, past the herbwoman’s cabin (the one from the game’s first quests), and you’ll reach the camp. Once there, you can walk to the northeast, past the two roads between cliffs, and then climb the hill to see the camp. Below is the exact location:

You need to look for a cairn, which is at the center of the camp; it is hard to miss. However, there are a few enemies around, so you need to either fight them or wait until night falls to take them out quietly.

Regardless of how you defeat them, you then must approach the cairn to get your loot.

Here, you’ll get the last item of the armor set:

  • Brunswick’s bascinet

And with that, the Lion’s Armor DLC quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be over.

While it will take a while to get everything, getting this armor as soon as possible is ideal because its stats will carry you until you get to the new region. You’ll eventually change to a different armor set, but it will take quite a while before that happens. Also, this set provides some great charisma bonuses, so using it during certain conversations is a good idea.
