To mark the 75th anniversary of the introduction of the Joker in the Batman comics, Suicide Squad director David Ayer gave a little treat to some fans: the official look of Jared Leto’s take on the iconic villain.
The new Joker sports a few tattoos, silver teeth grill, the iconic green hair, and a purple glove. Some might take issue with this look as already fans are saying they love or hate it. Take a look for yourself:
Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer and is set to release August 5 next year. Jared Leto is set to play the Joker with Margot Robbie playing the girlfriend, Harley Quinn. The cast is rounded out with Will Smith as Deadshot, Cara Delevingne as the Enchantress, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and Joel Kinneman as Rick Flag.
