I would have failed this assignment.

College assignments can sometimes be fun and other times hard, but this time, a college assignment is crazy. A Florida sophomore named Aubrey made a call for help on TikTok as she asked people to help her with her college assignment. As she shared the details of this particular assignment, people reacted differently in the comments. Many of them were against the assignment and found it unreasonable. Other people found it a life lesson for the Florida sophomore and her colleagues to learn.

In the video, the Florida sophomore describes how she and her class were assigned an assignment called Go Viral. She then explains what the assignment is about. According to her, for her to get 100 on the assignment, she has to go more viral than anyone in her class. The Florida sophomore continues explaining as she says that everyone else’s grades will be based on the person with the most amount of views and likes.

After being done with explaining, the Florida sophomore asks viewers to help her win and get 100 on her assignment. She ends her video by saying, “Please help a girl out.” While Aubrey was telling the assignment as if it was completely normal, people in the comments didn’t think the same. Most of the comments were against the idea of the assignment and found it unfair.

One TikTok user wrote, “That’s a horrible assignment, omg,” to which another replied by saying, “Exactly what I said.” Another person wrote “That’s really missed up that only one student can get 100%.” The comments didn’t stop here as many pointed out how the assignment wasn’t fair to introverts. One person left a comment saying “Poor introverts.” Another one wrote, “My social anxiety could literally never.” Someone also pointed out that they already saw one of the Florida sophomore’s classmates doing the same thing.

The assignment looked extreme to many despite not knowing what kind of class it was. Some, however, pointed out that they would have hated such a class because of this assignment.

“I would probably hate this teacher. Cuz [sic] imagine being the least viral person in class. Grades are important to me so I’d probably freak out, goodluck!!![sic]”

Florida Sophomore Giving an Update

Honestly, the assignment does sound kind of fun, but I get why people see it as unfair. One person even wrote, “College is so unserious,” hinting at the absurdity of the entire situation. The Florida sophomore made sure to post an update where she also thanked people for getting her one million views. She saw the bright side of the assignment as she said that even if she wasn’t the winner, she would still get an A which is enough for her.

Viewers will now be waiting to see the result of this crazy assignment. The Florida sophomore gave a timeline as she said she would probably find out her grade in three weeks. The original video has now reached 3.1 million views, which made some people say they are waiting for “OUR grade.” I would love to see the result of this. On the other hand, I 100% would have failed that class.
