One of the most anticipated sequels to one of the most beloved action-adventure/shop-keeping games is almost here. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is coming this Summer 2025. If you weren’t aware, this sequel takes place in a new locale where everyone’s favorite shopkeeper will have to, well, set up shop again while also delving into dangerous places to keep his store stocked. Whether you’re a new player of this sage or someone who’s a fan of RPGs with rogue-like tints, this is the perfect time to jump into Moonlighter.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Sets Its Release Window for Summer 2025

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault announced today its release window, which is set for Summer 2025. The exact date remains a mystery, but we now know it’s coming in the next few months. So, the wait will be way shorter now.

This sequel overhauls many of the prequel’s systems, mainly its art style. Instead of the loveable pixel graphics, we’ll have a full-blown 3D adventure, which, as you can see, looks stunning.

Furthermore, players can expect even more customization options, combat challenges, and the rogue-like/management loop the prequel was so beloved for. Furthermore, the game adds a new tactical layer, with Relics being at the front and center. Instead of worrying only about inventory management, you’ll need to watch out for these Relics. They have different properties, thus changing your run considerably.

Last but not least, Moonlighter 2 will take players to a new locale, Tresna, which is a mix of different dimensions and where you’ll likely spend most of your time. Whether it is to sell your hard-earned products or invest in villagers’ projects, you’ll want to get yourself acquainted with this picturesque place. So, save the date and get your bag ready because this shop is about to open.
