Satire, right?

A country singer named Kyle Coulahan has gone viral, but not for the reasons one may think. The conservative Tennessee resident previewed a song in an attempt to undermine the importance of the use of pronouns by the LGBTQ+ community but ended up invalidating his point in the lyrics of the song, so much so it inspired a drinking game.

As seen in a viral video on Reddit, an influencer played a “deadly” drinking game called ‘Take a drink every time he uses a pronoun.’ In his untitled release, Coulahan proudly sang:

“I never understood the whole pronoun thing or why people think it was okay to push their agenda till we believe. Or burning our flag and waving their own talking trash but they don’t wanna go home cause they’re in the land of the free. Sounds like a whole lot of bullsh*t to me.”

In front of the woman were 16 red shot cups, and every time the Nashville resident used a pronoun, she downed one. Unfortunately, the song contained pronouns like ‘I,’ ‘it,’ ‘our,’ ‘they,’ ‘their,’ and many others, so there was no stopping. The influencer, who struggled to keep up, had already drunk all the shots in a little over a minute.

She probably wasn’t drinking alcohol, as it might lead to alcohol poisoning. However, the hilarious clip sparked reactions, with users pointing out the hypocrisy of the song’s lyrics. They drew attention to the fact that the upcoming singer claims not to understand the point of pronouns but uses several in the song.

Others, however, were more focused on the ridiculousness of the song. They referred to the song as AI-generated and called the singer out for being bigoted.

One user commented, “Bro typed ‘make me a country song about hating pronouns’ into chat GPT,” and another user added, “So Coulahan’s preferred pronouns are y’all/we.”

This Redditor sarcastically remarked, “Pushing an agenda is bad. That’s why I wrote this song about guns and Jesus.”

A fourth comment read, “That’s the kind of song that goes hard if you’re stupid. these people are the indoctrinated ones.”

Coulahan, who currently lives in Nashville, has released politically charged songs such as Jesus and Trump and Still Proud to be an American. The upcoming artist has over 45,000 monthly listeners and 192,000 followers on Instagram.

The song remains unreleased, and Kyle Coulhan has yet to address any of the comments his catchy conservative jingle has sparked.
