People can get up to some wild things with their friends; after all, impulsive decisions are usually part of any friendship. One Texas girl, only 20 years old, has announced that she adopted a baby with her friends. While it is good for them that they are happy about doing so, people were divided in the comments. Some thought that it was an irrational decision and that they weren’t equipped to raise a baby on their own.
In the video, the Texas girl is holding a baby in her hands. She wrote on top of the video: “IDK if this is weird but I adopted a BABY and I’m RAISING IT with my friends.” In another video, the Texas girl announced that she also adopted the baby’s sister. “My adoptive son had a biological sister out there so I went and found her and adopted her too. Didn’t want them to grow up apart,” she wrote.
People Reacting to the Texas Girl’s Video
People had different reactions to the Texas girl announcing that she had adopted a baby with her friends. One person wrote, “They think it’s a group pet.” Another commented on how the Texas girl used “it” to describe the baby. “Sorry IT?” they wrote. Another quipped in and said, “Why use ‘it’ for a baby?” One TikTok user also joked about the fact that the Texas girl adopted the baby with her friends, so she isn’t on her own. “‘This is mom, mama, mother and mommy,’” they wrote. One also said, “guys I think they think it’s a STREAK PET.”
While many comments joked about the entire situation, others defended the Texas girl and her decision. “I think ppl forget u have to meet certain requirements to be able to adopt. The baby will be okay,” one person wrote. Another TikTok user shared the same sentiment as they said, “why u guys so mad. U not the one taking care of the baby. N plus adopting a child comes w a lot of requirements. She wouldn’t have the baby if she didn’t meet w the requirements.”
One person also wrote, “the baby is gonna be the coolest kid ever.” Someone pointed out how people were criticizing the Texas girl even though she gave the baby a home. “She adopted a baby and giving the baby a loving home and people still find reasons to hate,” they wrote. If the baby is safe and okay, then there’s nothing wrong with this. The woman met the requirements and might actually be a very good mother.
