While RuneScape: Dragonwilds is quite different from OSRS or RuneScape 3, it still has the good old in-depth questing systems we love from the MMOs. While traversing through the lands of Ashenfall, you might find a few items that will lead you to secret missions. One of those is the Ghostspeak Amulet that starts the “Restless Ghosts” quest in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. However, there aren’t any quest markers to guide you to your objective. So, we’ve prepared a quick guide to help you solve this haunting task.

Where to Find the Ghostspeak Amulet
Before anything else happens, you must find the Ghostspeak Amulet in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, and doing so is quite easy. After you finish the tutorial, your first task will be to reach Bramblemead Valley. If you follow the main road, you’ll encounter a dilapidated village with a well in it. Approach the well and interact with it to obtain the amulet. Once you have it, it will appear inside your Quest Items pouch.
This object will let you speak with ghosts, but there are two conditions. First, you need to have the amulet in your inventory (just stating it again in case it wasn’t clear enough). Second, you must wait until night falls. Once it’s dark, you can start your first official quest.
Restless Ghosts Walkthrough
To begin the Restless Ghosts quest in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you must head to the location we marked above and speak with the Restless Spirit. The location is just southwest of the village, near a body of water. The Restless Spirit will only spawn at night while you have the amulet in your inventory.
Once you speak with the Restless Spirit, they will tell you about the other adventurers who perished and ask you to put them all to rest, including the Restless Spirit, whose name is Warren. Also, you’ll get the following clues leading to the other ghosts:
- “My brother lies buried in darkness beneath a southern point rising high in the sky. Find his name. Set him free.”
- “Blades that once whirled like a tornado now lay among crumbled stone. Find the lost who dwells there. Set her free.”
- “Chocking on swamp gas. Ruined timber, mould, and splintered. Sinking moment by moment into bitter, bleak, mud. Find the name of the buried, set them free.”
In true RuneScape fashion, there aren’t any quest markers, so we’ll list below where to find each one.
First Ghost (Finn)
The first riddle reads: “My brother lies buried in darkness beneath a southern point rising high in the sky. Find his name. Set him free.” At first, you might think the ghost is inside the dungeon to the south, but that’s not the case. To find the ghost, you need to go to the following location:
Once you reach it, you’ll notice a big mountain with an entrance on the side. However, the entrance is covered with thorny vines. You can destroy the vines by leveling up your Woodcutting skill.
Once you’ve leveled up your Woodcutting skill, you just need to take your hatchet out and start cutting the vines. You’ll get Ash Logs by doing so. After that, just enter the cave to encounter the ghost.
Speak with the ghost and exhaust their dialogue. Here, you’ll get the name “Finn.”
With these two names (Finn and Warren), you can start putting their spirits to rest.
Second Ghost (Lazina)
The second riddle says, “Blades that once whirled like a tornado now lay among crumbled stone. Find the lost who dwells there. Set her free.”
Initially, many might think about a place with swords or maybe even inside a dungeon full of traps. However, the answer is much simpler. To find the next ghost, you must return to the windmill at night and head to the destroyed house next to it. The next spirit will spawn there and will give you her name, Lazina. We’ve marked the location on the above image. If you are having difficulties finding it, it is the place where you practice combat during the tutorial.
How To Put the Spirits to Rest
Instead of burying bones like in other RuneScape versions, you’ll need to return to Temple Woods, more specifically, to where you first spawned. After that, head to the right side (if looking at the entrance of the temple), and you’ll find the Remembrance Shrine at the back. Interact with it and remember the names you’ve learned from the ghosts.
We still need to find one more spirit to complete the Restless Ghosts quest in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, but the process should be the same. Find the name, return to the Shrine, and put them to rest. Still, we’ll update the article once we find the final adventurer.
