Vampirism is awesome. You get bitten by some pale dude, have a sudden thirst for blood, and look really hot doing it. Vampires are no stranger to The Elder Scrolls franchise, especially in the newest The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. In fact, you can become a vampire pretty early on in your journey through Cyrodiil. Are you ready to become a child of the night?
The Easiest Way to Become a Vampire in Oblivion Remastered

The easiest way Iโve found to become a vampire in any version of Oblivion is to:
- Head over to the Imperial City, specifically the Elven Gardens District.
- Locate a sewer grate and go inside.
- Youโll need to maneuver through the sewer until you come across Beneath the Bloodworks.
- Thatโs quite literally the name of the area.
- Inside, youโll face plenty of vampires who can bite and infect you with Porphyric Hemophilia.
- Make your way out of the sewer and locate any bed that isnโt owned by anyone else.
- Sleep for three days straight until you get a screen that notifies you of your vampirism.
Now that youโre a vampire, there are a few important things to know. You cannot be outside during the daytime, so check out what time it is before you step foot under the blazing sun. You will also need to feed, lest people will find you a bit too pale and monstrous to interact with you (Iโve learned through experience). You can only feed when a person is asleep. No need to worry about them calling authorities, you can feed and get on with your day.

How to Remove Vampirism
If you decide that being a vampire isnโt for you, you can remove it. Shocking, right? You will need to speak with Raminus Polus at the Arcane University to start the Vampire Cure quest. By the end of the quest, youโll have the cure.
