Minnesota Woman Calls Black Child Slur, Raises $400K: ‘Jesus This Timeline Sucks’

This doesn’t make sense

It’s generally believed that racism isn’t acceptable and that anyone being openly racist will face criticism from the majority of people. However, that didn’t seem to be the case for this Minnesota woman. Shiloh Hendrix, a resident of Rochester, received significant backlash after a video surfaced showing her calling a young Black child the N-word at Soldiers Field Memorial Park. The reason for her anger stemmed from her belief that the five-year-old was stealing from her 18-month-old’s diaper bag.

Boomers have given over 300k to the woman who called a 5 year old the N word.

Despite the widespread criticism, Shiloh Hendrix insisted she was in the right, claiming she used the slur because the child “acted like one.” While many condemned her for the racist remark, some people surprisingly supported her. A number of individuals not only agreed with her behavior but also donated money after she launched a fundraiser on a Christian crowdfunding platform. Initially, the Minnesota woman asked for $20,000, but the campaign quickly exceeded expectations and has now raised over $400,000. Hendrix has even raised the goal to USD $1,000,000.

On the description page of her crowdfunding campaign, the Minnesota woman stated that the recordings of her racist actions had caused significant turmoil for both herself and her family. She claimed that she had been doxxed, with her Social Security number, address, and phone number leaked online. Hendrix also mentioned that her eldest child might not return to school due to the public backlash. She expressed a need for financial support, claiming it was necessary to protect her family and possibly relocate to ensure their safety.

Many of Hendrix’s supporters didn’t just contribute financially; they also expressed their support in the comments on her crowdfunding page. Several praised the Minnesota woman for what they saw as her bravery and boldness. “White people don’t have to put up with being second-class anymore. This is our country, our home. You either learn to behave or get out,” one supporter commented.

On the other side of the internet, many people continued to criticize Hendrix and expressed disbelief that there were still individuals supporting her racist actions. Many Reddit users also visited the crowdfunding page, expressing disgust at the comments left in support of her. “Call a kid the N-word, raise $300,000. Jesus, this timeline sucks. I watched the video and she was vile,” one Redditor remarked.

Some Redditors remarked that this incident highlighted how deeply rooted racism still is in America. “No hesitation, so many people who wish they could ‘get away with it’ too. What a terrible reflection of who or what our neighbors truly are. Just sad. I’ve gone from angry to just sad. Nothing changes if nothing changes. 1925 or 2025,” one user commented.
