North Carolina couple Kelsey Noah and David Albin are making some noise on TikTok with their own take on a wedding ceremony. It seems they may have taken “Till death do us part” very literally, as the two actually got married in a cemetery. Kelsey, 29, and David, 32, have gone viral for their creepy wedding venue. The two married on Friday, May 2, at a local Boone, North Carolina, cemetery. Around 20 people attended their graveyard ceremony.
Reports from People state that all 20 guests wore all black to the event. In the caption of the TikTok video, the bride states that they got married in a cemetery because they are “Spooky little weirdos.” The clip has gotten over 3.5 million views and around 6000,000 likes since it was posted on May 3rd. Kelce Noah claims that their love story is one that Gomez and Morticia would be very proud of. Like The Addams Family matriarch, Kelsey dressed in all black for her big day. Her flowers were blood red carnations with a single black rose added by David’s mother. Kelsey also used a black lace tablecloth as a veil. The bride completed her look with an off-the-shoulder black lace dress.
Why Did This North Carolina Couple Get Married in a Cemetery?
Kelce Noah also stated that the North Carolina couple got very hung up on the till death do us part stuff. This allegedly sparked the idea for the two to marry in a cemetery. They seemingly wanted to start their partnership where it would eventually end, which is a graveyard. The bride also confirms that her wedding band says “till death” on it. David Albin matched his partner’s gothic appearance with a black trench coat over a black turtleneck. Kelsey described her wedding as a place where “love was felt in all stages of life.“
It was later confirmed that the North Carolina couple did a lot of research. They also went out of their way to ensure they were respectful. They allegedly picked a day when there were no burials, and the ceremony was only around 10 minutes long. It seems as though Kelsey Noah and David Albin had a very magical wedding ceremony and a fantastic start to what is hopefully a long and prosperous life together. A cemetery wedding may not be for everyone, but it was meant for this newly married couple.
