The official movie trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is – was – scheduled to take a bite out the Internet tomorrow, December 7. Unfortunately, there’ve been some unforeseen circumstances plaguing the team, and particularly the key actors. Now, sudden problems are to be expected with any big project, but this might easily qualify as a catastrophe in its birth throes. They did, at least, manage to get the word out that these difficulties were happening so that fans can better understand the situation. Thanks to Zach King, who uploaded the video via Twitter, for the live footage.

Of course, this horrific turn of events is concerning for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom‘s production, but as the footage shows, they did finally manage to get the trailer onto the Cloud, so everything turned out okay for now. In the meantime, let’s turn our phones into magnifying glasses and take a closer look at the things that really matter here: that snippet of trailer.

We saw the characters huddled together as a multitude of different dinosaurs stampeded around them. What wasn’t shown was the source of the ancient critters’ agitation. Given the indications and opinions that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom might reveal a threat bigger than the dinosaurs themselves, we can assume this scene takes place somewhere between one-third and halfway through the movie, just before the real, ultimate danger is revealed. It’s an especially safe assumption given that the footage we see is absolutely guaranteed to be an actual part of the actual trailer that will be shown. These actors risked their lives to bring us this footage – would they have gone through all that just to mislead us? I think not.

One thing’s for sure. It’ll be up to that guy who hid in the restroom to tell us the truth of what happened in that building, and of the fate of the other Jurassic World actors. God help him.
