There have been several claims that some schools have litter boxes in their bathrooms. This comes after backlash toward those who identify as furries. However, usually when people make that claim, they don’t have any evidence to prove it. A North Carolina woman had the same belief as she falsely claimed to someone that a school has litter boxes inside it. People, of course, found this to be nonsense that no one should believe. Yet, we see several people, especially Trump supporters, claiming that this is happening.
In a post shared by a North Carolina resident, they shared how they were shopping somewhere when they came across the North Carolina woman. She is working at the business, and as the person was checking out, a small conversation started. So far, it’s normal. What isn’t normal, however, is that the North Carolina woman claimed that a school has litter boxes in their bathrooms. According to her, the boxes are there for those who “identify as cats.” Thankfully, the person made sure to point out that the North Carolina woman’s claims are false. They informed her that their kid goes to the same school and there aren’t any litter boxes anywhere.
People Reacting to the North Carolina Woman’s Claims
After reading what the North Carolina woman said, people came after her as they started making fun of her statement. One person wrote jokingly, “I’m the cat.” Another person was left confused that some people still believe this stuff. “Trying to understand why some people believe the nonsense they believe is a pathway to depression,” they said. To which another person replied by saying, “pathway to dementia. F**king boomers will believe anything.” This comment made someone clarify which group of people believes this kind of nonsense. “Ahem boomer here. I think you meant to say MAGAs will believe anything,” they wrote.
The MAGA hate, which I can understand, kept going. Someone stated, “That story is years old now. Maga talking point.” Another was left frustrated by how people like the North Carolina woman never provide any evidence. “And yet, no photo proof. That’s what gets me. If there was a litter box in a school, photos would be all over the Internet,” they wrote.
One Redditor else made sure to come after Fox News (which is also understandable). They wrote, “Between Facebook and Fox News. The older generations are cooked. They believe everything you put in front of them as if it’s the objective truth. And since they believe it’s the truth and that neither source would ever lie..it’s even harder to show that they are wrong since intellectually they are incapable of understanding real vs fake. The day Fox News actually gets shut down is the day we the US will finally start to improve.” Now, I would love to see some of the litter boxes that people claim exist in schools.
