It was uncalled for

Security guards at any establishment are allowed to defend the place against criminals. Normally, some violence might take place as the guards confront the criminal in question. What isn’t normal is the fact that a Nevada security guard attacked a harmless man. The man wasn’t a threat anymore, nor was he in a situation where he could fight back against the Nevada security guard. Still, the guard attacked the man without caring if this was fair or not. No one even intervened to stop this kind of injustice. The only reaction we had was that someone filmed the accident.

In the video, you can see two security guards towering over a man on the ground. The man already looks like he is in pain and can’t get up. This should have made the guards leave him alone, right? Well, the Nevada security guard decided to attack the harmless man again. Moreover, he used his pepper spray on him, even though the man wasn’t fighting back. After this, the man starts to crawl away. It seems that he was sitting outside an establishment with a chessboard. What makes the situation even more heartbreaking is that the other guard stood still while he saw someone stealing money from the cheeseboard. Are those the kind of people who exist for protection?

People Reacting to the Nevada Security Guard’s Actions

It is to be expected that people would be left furious by how the Nevada security guard acted. One person pointed out how the second security guard let someone steal from the man. “And then the second guard watches as another person steals the cash from the chess board. Awful,” they wrote. Another insulted the security guard as they wrote, “The 2nd spray was just to be a d**k he was already incapacitated.” Someone else wished that the security guard would be arrested for his behavior. “Needs to be in handcuffs.”

Since this situation can easily become a lawsuit if the man wanted to press charges, several people pointed this out. “An attorney’s mouth is watering watching this video,” one person wrote. “Someone is getting fired and sued all in one month,” another person said. Others speculated on why the Nevada security guard attacked the harmless man. “Ya. What the hell is going on? Did he cheat on the chess game or something?” someone asked. A Redditor then replied by saying, “probably didn’t have a busker license and refused to leave. There are actually a limited amount of spots and you have to register for one and who gets them is actually a lottery.” No matter what is the reason behind this attack, such a force wasn’t necessary.
