Nebraska Road Rage Turns to Floor Flop in Strange and Hilarious Police Incident: ‘He Knew the Drill’

The timing.

In a clip that might as well have been directed by karma itself, a man in Nebraska caught in the act of road rage goes from aggressive to instantly submissive after spotting a police SUV just feet away. The video, shared on Reddit, has viewers howling for the perfectly timed justice.

Instant Karma

It begins with two vehicles stopped at a red light on a busy Lincoln roadway. A visibly enraged man leaps out of his truck, storms over to the car in front, and starts banging on the window like it owes him money. Then, with dramatic flair, he opens the car door, slams it shut, and begins stomping back before the camera pans left.

Enter: Lincoln PD, stage right.

As if summoned by divine comedy, a police SUV is parked just behind the drama. The woman filming bursts into laughter: “Oh, perfect timing!” As the light turns green, vehicles begin pulling forward, revealing the patrol car squarely in the aggressor’s line of sight.

And then it happens.

With the suddenness of someone reliving a Cops episode, the man drops straight to the pavement. Hands behind his back. Face down. No argument, no running. Just instant, practiced compliance.

“He complied so quickly I thought he got hit by a taser,” joked u/Historical-Edge-9332.

“Assume the po! … oh OK then,” quipped u/CrazyFinger4, summing up the moment.

Online, the video has sparked thousands of upvotes and an outpouring of gallows humor. While some debated the cop’s delay in acting: “She let him finish assaulting someone before strolling up,” one user noted, the real entertainment came from the aggressor’s Olympic-speed submission.

“That is not the first time bro has had to assume the position,” wrote u/Biltong09, in a line that quickly became the top comment.

Others praised the man’s self-preservation instincts:

“He’s got situational awareness — he just saves it for when he’s being arrested,” joked u/chathamhouserules.

“Cardio? Nah. Compliance? Always ready,” added u/Dr-Mumm-Rah.

Despite the humor, the situation had real consequences. Though there’s no official report yet from Lincoln authorities, the incident is presumed to have led to a swift arrest — and one unforgettable example of instant karma in broad daylight.
