Accidents can happen a lot no matter what area they take place in. You would mostly find accidents happening between cars or motorcycles for example. You don’t expect to see any other kind of vehicle involved in an accident on the freeway. Well, now you can imagine more. An insane California man was seen driving his electric scooter on the freeway. Yes, you read that correctly. This is one way to have a death wish for yourself.
In the video taken, you can the California man riding his electric scooter on the freeway between cars. He is probably going 60 mph, which makes this worse. Yes, he is wearing a helmet, but that doesn’t mean he is safe if a car was to hit him. I can only imagine how far he would land if an accident happened. At one point, he looks behind him to see if any cars are coming. If you are not sure that you are completely safe, why would you even do this? I get wanting some kind of adrenaline rush, but this is why video games exist.
People Reacting to the California Man’s Insane Behavior
Soon after seeing the video, people started coming after the man for this kind of crazy behavior. If a car was to hit him, he would be the one to blame. One person even wrote, “Organ donor.” Another had a gruesome reply as they said, “Not many organs intact when he Is a red smear across the pavement.” Someone shared the same idea and asked, “You think he’s going to have viable organs left after the inevitable outcome?” Since the helmet is basically pointless in this situation, you know people had to joke about it. “At this point, the helmet is wearing you for protection,” one person wrote.
Someone argued that even if the California man had more than a helmet on him, he still wouldn’t have been safe. “There is no amount of body armor that will protect you in a crash in this situation. Fool needs to be LOCKED UP somewhere,” they said. Scooter riders, in general, caught a stray as one person came after them. “Why are scooter riders just the dumbest? They ride 2 on a scooter with no helmets, they ride on sidewalks weaving around walkers, and now this idiocy. They will get themselves and others hurt or killed!” I don’t want to imagine how the man’s mom would act if she knew what he was doing.
