A terrible accident had taken place at a Dollar Tree store in Delaware and it left the community shaken. While people were shopping, a car slammed into the store destroying aisles along with the shop. In a video shared on TikTok, you can see the car moving through the store before hitting the wall at the end. What’s heartbreaking is that you can hear someone yelling “Oh my God” at what was happening. Even after hitting the wall, the car kept squealing which indicated that the driver couldn’t stop. According to several locals in the comments, the driver, a 44-year-old woman, had a seizure which led to the crash.
NBC Philadelphia provided more details as they shared that the driver was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, two people were injured in the Delaware crash. One of them is a 76-year-old who got injured by some debris and was later released from the hospital. The other victim is a 97-year-old woman who had terrible luck as the car hit her. The publication reported that “She was airlifted to the hospital and has since been listed in stable, but critical condition.” There was one person in the comments who claimed to be a local. They said that the 97-year-old woman had passed away, but hopefully, this is just a rumor.
The video becomes even more horrifying as you can hear a lady screaming for help. People were also knocking on the car as someone was saying, “Leave her” (probably means the 97-year-old lady). The only annoying thing was how a woman in the store said at the end of the video, “Can I pay this,” while people were in distress. An employee is heard telling her “No, just put it down.” People have become desensitized in a crazy way.
