In the viral TikTok, the Texas Woman explains she had to get a rib removed for some kind of blood syndrome. However, after the operation, the woman would ask for her rib back, and the hospital surprisingly gave it to her. In a follow-up video, the woman shows what the rib looked like before she boiled it.
The rib can be seen with pieces of muscle and flesh still attached around the outside of the bone. Addison Meek would explain that to preserve the bone correctly, the meat would have to be removed. This is when she would decide to cook the meat by boiling the entire bone.

However, before cleaning her own flesh off the rib, Addison Meek would decide that it would be the perfect opportunity to eat her own cooked flesh. Although after finally saying it out loud for an entire app to hear, most viewers were immediately disgusted. This is literally “Legal cannibalism,” wrote one TikTok commenter.
The video now has over 1.7 million views, as many are not taking the Texas woman’s side whatsoever. Despite that, though, Addison states that she doesn’t find it strange at all. “It was just a little bit of human flesh,” she can be heard saying in the TikTok. Addison would also confirm that it “didn’t taste good.“
She would even claim that her mother was in the room with her while she tried a piece of her own rib meat. Addison claimed her mother found it “silly.” The internet, on the other hand, is calling this family “weird.” At the same time, this is a strange situation to stumble upon. It would appear Addison Meek is no worse off physically after eating her rib meat. However, the effects it had on her viewers may be too much for some to handle. As this Texas woman continues to attempt to ride this new TikTok fame to stardom, who knows what she will post on her account next?
