Adopting a dog is always better than buying one. There are many dogs out there who are still in need of someone to adopt them… Sometimes, though, you can be misled by the adoption center for one reason or another. They might forget to mention something, whether by mistake or on purpose. This happened to a Georgia pet seeker who decided to adopt a French bulldog. He was excited that the Frenchie is almost free because he only has to pay the adoption fee. Since Frenchies are quite expensive, he thought that it was his lucky day. When he went to sign the papers, he was met with a surprise.
The Georgia guy took his sister with him to finalize the adoption, and he might have regretted his decision. In a video posted by his sister, she has been laughing non-stop because they discovered that the dog is blind. Apparently, she wasn’t laughing at the poor dog’s condition. Instead, she was laughing at the fact that she warned her brother that something might be wrong with the dog since it was being given away for free. She mentions that she had a Frenchie for five years and that she had to pay $850. So to her, there is no way that someone would be willing to let go of a Frenchie without asking for a lot of money. Throughout the entire video, her brother seemed to be still in shock as he had to accept that he now adopted a blind dog.

It wasn’t just the Georgia guy’s sister who was laughing at his situation. A lot of people found it funny that this happened and that the adoption place didn’t inform him that the dog was blind. Some people were a little bit harsh as they recommended that they take the dog back. “you can’t take it back and get a refund?” one person suggested. I mean, just because she is blind doesn’t mean that she isn’t good. This made two people write, “Blind dogs are just as good” along with “Blind dogs need love too.” They have got a point.
One woman also mentioned how the adoption people were at fault for not telling them about the dog’s condition. “The adoption ppl wrong for not telling him,” she wrote. Another woman tried to make the guy feel better as she said, “I have a blind dog too – you will never have to ever worry about your dog running off!” That is a good point.
Let’s just say that TikTok users had a lot of jokes to say about this whole situation. Someone even told the Georgia man that he is now the emotional support for the innocent dog. “So he basically the emotional support for the dog,” they wrote. Thankfully, it turns out that he was upset about his sister’s jokes and not at the fact that the dog was blind. “He still wanted her after he found out,” his sister clarified. This doesn’t mean that others won’t mock him as well. Just like the sister did, someone commented on the fact that the Frenchie was cheap. “He seen Frenchie and flew to the shelter little did he know,” she wrote. Now the guy knows to be more careful when he sees something discounted. The good thing is that he will still treat her right.
