An alarming series of assaults, torture, and multiple rights violations carried out by an alleged Certified Nursing Assistant in Red Wing, Minnesota, has gone viral on the internet. The nursing assistant was caught harassing and physically assaulting his patient, while also calling them the N-word and doubling down on his “convictions.” Here’s the clip; graphic video warning:
The video only captured the latest incident of abuse that the nursing assistant committed in the victim’s bedroom in the city of Red Wing. Apparently, the man’s name is Tavian Siglar from Ellsworth, Wisconsin. In the clip, you can see and hear Siglar calling his Black patient the N-word, and when called out by his patient, Siglar retorted with “In the United States of America, I can say whatever the f*** I want, you dumb piece of sh*t!”
Sadly, the video cuts after those words, but Siglar has allegedly admitted to physically assaulting, choking, and generally abusing the Black patient during transfers. Other instances of torture involved Siglar inflating rubber gloves with his breath and then forcibly pumping the air into his paralyzed patient’s lungs, likely to see how much he can get away with.
Siglar has since been terminated from his Personal Care Assistance (PCA) nursing work after the healthcare authorities were notified of the video and the man’s abuse. Additionally, Siglar was also working at Subway while moonlighting as a nursing assistant, but the food chain has also supposedly fired him after the video and proof of his abuse surfaced. The police are now investigating the matter at the time of writing.
People are Calling for Imprisonment
No doubt everyone who watched the video was disgusted by Siglar’s actions and abuse, especially since he bullied and abused someone who couldn’t even resist. People thus pointed out proper punishments for Siglar, though some had their own testimonies of how common this kind of abuse is, especially towards senior citizens.

Others were worried just how many people like Tavian Siglar exist– people who mistake their freedom of speech for freedom to spread hate and abuse anyone. Some were more skeptical about what kind of punishment would befall Siglar since he was also a racist on top of being an abuser. It’s no secret anymore that racists and grifters are known for setting up their own online fundraisers to beg money, though hopefully Siglar won’t get that chance in prison.
