Another day, another racist Karen, and this latest one attacked a Black customer inside a Costco establishment in Colorado. According to the video, this woman had been harassing the man for a while now with her shopping cart, until someone decided to record the Karen and her daughter. Although the behavior didn’t stop immediately, the person behind the camera drew everyone’s attention to how annoying they were being to the customer. But as it is expected, the Karen and Karen-in-progress took an entitled posture, trying to become the victims of the situation.
In the video, you can observe a Black man walking inside a Costco in Colorado while on his phone, and behind him, two Karens are hitting the man with their cart. The man angrily turns toward the women and says, “Hit me one more time with that cart and Imma punch you in the face.” The lady hits him once more, and the man loses it, telling her to “F*ck off.”
At that moment, the one filming approaches the Karen and tells her, “Lady, you need to stop. You’ve been harassing him this whole time.” But the Karen denies it and even tries to give a teasing smile at the one behind the camera.
As you can expect from any other Karen in the wild, the mother and daughter take an entitled stand, telling the man to turn around and that they are “done.” Yet, they never stop hitting the customer.
The younger and soon-to-be Karen approaches the one filming and asks them if they always keep their phone out in the store to film everything, to which they reply, “No. Just when people are harassing others and being like Karens.” This doesn’t sit well with the two annoying ladies, who start snapping their fingers, calling the one recording “trashy,” and eventually storming out of the line.
These ladies earned some well-deserved negative comments online from many users who defended the customer:
“What a miserable human being.” Commented one user.
“Bleach blonde in a belly shirt calls someone else trashy. That woman recording has the patience of a saint.” Said another user.
Many believe that these women were trying to harass this person to provoke him, so they could then play victims. Given the current events in the country, it’s not surprising—fortunately, the person who documented everything managed to halt the situation before it escalated.
