You would assume that people would feel embarrassed if they were confronted about littering. Like if you went up to someone, they would apologize and pick up their litter. Well, this didn’t happen in California when two good Samaritans decided to confront a guy who was littering. They were at a drive-thru with a car in front of them, and they saw the driver throw something out of the window and onto the ground. “Part of me wants to grab it and throw it in back in there,” the man says to his partner. She then decides to head over there and give the guy his trash back. When she does this, she asks him, “Did you drop this?” and he proudly answers “Oh yeah.” He doesn’t even have any shame about what he did or the fact that someone saw him.
Of course, the California woman is upset about the entire interaction. When she gets back inside the car, the first thing she says is “asshole.” You can understand where she is coming from. If the couple were upset at first, they get more annoyed when the driver decides to throw the trash again. “I knew he was going to do that. Flip him off,” the man says while the woman describes the guy as a jerk. The driver doesn’t stop at this, but he decides to be even more annoying. He starts driving away after picking up his order and he rolls coal at the duo, with smoke billowing out of the vehicle’s rear exhaust. Imagine being this immature. When the couple pulls up to the drive-thru window, the first thing the man says to the employee is, “Those guys are assholes.” No one can be described as a good person if they decide to litter.
People Reacting to the Defiant California Driver
The California good Samaritans weren’t the only ones upset about how the driver acted. Everyone found him annoying as well. This made one person even say, “This country needs a real plague. A certain demographic will not take precautions or heed warnings.” Another person then replied and wrote, “These people are the plague.” Since the guy threw trash, it was fitting that someone would call him “Trash human.” The insults didn’t stop there as someone else said, “and then rolling coal. Barely human.” One person had an interesting choice of words as they wrote, “Small dick energy.” People also started hoping that the California driver would be fined. “Hopefully OP reported him. License plate is clear as day. In some states fine is $1,000 for littering…,” someone wrote.
Others pointed out that the California driver rolling coal is an assault in some places. “Rolling coal on someone is also considered to be assault in some states,” one person wrote. Another person hoped, “Committing two crimes on video and potentially paid by credit card, which would confirm their identity. I hope they reported the asshole(s) to the police.” According to one Redditor, the driver would definitely face consequences. “California doesn’t f**k around with that. They are going to get a visit. They will send a state ref,” they wrote. As one person also said, “Would love to see this douchebags face when he gets hit with the fine.” He wouldn’t have lost anything if he hadn’t littered. It’s easy to keep trash with you and not throw it on the streets.
