Florida Lawyer Details Frightening Way President Trump Will Destroy Electoral Process, ‘Our Military Overseas Rely on Mail In Ballots to Vote’

That doesn’t sound very democratic

Recently, President Trump had a conversation with Vladimir Putin regarding US elections being ‘rigged’ by way of mail-in ballots. As such, President Trump decided he’s going to try to do away with postal ballots completely. But what does this mean for the future of voting in America and why should citizens be worried? According to a Florida lawyer on TikTok, it would severely undermine the democratic process. After all, Democrats generally have a higher percentage of mail-in voters.

Aaron Parnas, a lawyer, posted shared their knowledge on TikTok, captioned: “Alarm bells go off as Trump tries to change election system.” Aaron explains President Trump is set to sign an executive order eliminating mail-in ballots and voting machines before the 2026 midterms. Instead, states would dictate how they handle elections. “The President of the United States cannot unilaterally change elections in states. So, if states wanna use these voting machines that Donald Trump claims are inaccurate, they can use it,” says Aaron.

Should the executive order be carried out, Aaron’s fear is that it’ll “alter America’s electoral process” for the worst. As he put it: it would “disenfranchise millions” and disproportionally affect mail-in voters. A lot of people can’t access the polls due to financial hardships, disabilities, and more. If they’re unable to reach the polls, at least they can still exercise their constitutional right to vote through the mail. And this wouldn’t just affect Democrats—a lot of Republicans send mail-in ballots, too.

We can go a step further. As one commenter put it: “Our military overseas rely on mail in ballots to vote. He doesn’t want the people who fight for our right to vote (in theory at least) to be able to vote.” It’s a great point! Why should veterans already risking their lives be punished, too?

Well, it’s about control. Another commenter hit the nail on the head by quoting Donald Trump’s own words: ‘“Vote for me and you’ll never have to vote again.”‘ That’s a chilling statement in its own right. I think it’s safe to say Aaron’s fears are justified. And the fact he’s a lawyer by profession only makes the possibility even more real.
