Life is like a box of pizza; sometimes it causes altercations and arrests, such as what happened to a pizza deliveryman in New York City. The pizza deliveryman was merely doing his job when, suddenly, a rather aggressive woman next door got annoyed by the noise and started picking a fight with him. Thankfully, she was arrested, and it turns out the pizza man was set up by another neighbor who wanted the aggressive woman arrested.
The incident happened on August 17 to Billy Saliermo, the pizza man in question, in New York City. The video of the incident was uploaded Ring app of the neighbor who ordered the pizza, and it went viral on TikTok through deliciousbathwwater123. Apparently, the neighbor who ordered the pizza was also being harassed by the aggressive woman in the video, but the police allegedly won’t do anything.
“Police have been here 3 times and still won’t do anything because no bodily injuries were sustained and said she has to physically hurt us in order for an arrest to be made. We can’t enter nor exit our apartment without this happening nor have visitors or deliveries without them being harassed”.
So, the neighbor hatched up a plan by using a pizza deliveryman as bait so that the aggressive woman would start a fight. That unlucky guy has been identified as Billy Salierno. As you can see in the video above, Salierno was just trying to make a living delivering a pizza, but the neighbor who ordered wasn’t answering the door on purpose to draw out the aggressive neighbor and catch her on camera.
The plan worked, and the aggressive woman came out, slapped the pizza out of Salierno’s hand, and basically started a fight. Salierno somehow managed to restrain himself but was supposedly chased down the stairs by the aggressive woman. Thankfully, this time, the police believed in the evidence and managed to arrest the aggressive woman, all thanks to the pizza man who unwittingly became the bait.
People Were Torn on the Unethical Setup
While the whole thing ended as intended and damage was relatively minimized, people were still criticizing the neighbor who ordered pizza for putting Salierno in danger. Some comments even assumed that the aggressive woman would’ve pulled out her gun and shot the pizza man if he stepped into her apartment line to retaliate. Hence, Salierno garnered some sympathy as he could’ve easily gotten hurt while doing his job.

Salierno, the pizza man, meanwhile, has acknowledged what happened and what he was used for and has stated that he will be detailing his side of the story in his own TikTok account. Some people, however, were advising him online to press charges against both the aggressive woman and the neighbors who set him up as a sacrificial lamb.

Salierno’s daughter has since spoken up about the incident and is now helping her dad. They plan to press charges against the aggressive woman.
