Sometimes, it’s better to just not say anything at all. But when you’re a Karen, you need to let everybody join in on your misery, right? A California grocery shopper became annoyed by a Karen when they were confronted by her several times. The shopper was just trying to enjoy a day out with their elderly mother. It quickly turned into a dramatic confrontation that had the entire store turning heads.
Dex (@dextrose510) shared their video on TikTok after they were continuously confronted by an over-the-top annoying Karen. The incident took place at a California Walmart. In the video, Dex says, “Mind your own business” and goes on to say, “It’s not your job to tell me what the handicapped space is or isn’t.” As the Karen stands there and tries to talk over Dex, they argue back and forth loudly. You can see several shoppers in the back turning their attention to the conversation. As Dex instructs the Karen, “Walk away… WALK. AWAY” she continues to argue.
Dex says that this was the first time they have ever had to deal with a Karen. Apparently, the Karen came up to Dex’s car window and told them they were driving too slow. When Dex went to retrieve a grocery basket in the store, the Karen followed them and their 81-year-old mom, continuing to berate Dex. She told them that they were parked in a handicapped space. She then followed them through the store. That’s when Dex decided to finally say something and put the annoying Karen in her place. Dex said, “It’s been a magical day” with their 81-year-old mom, “But then I have to deal with this s**t.”
There’s nothing worse than a Karen who’s just dying inside to say something and start some drama. A commenter asked Dex, “What was her deal anyways? Why is she in your space like that?” Dex replied, “I wish I knew, I really do. I didn’t want to bother her so I’m not sure. She yelled out the window, I was driving too slow before I even went in. Then she was mad about the handicap spot… Hope she has a better day.” But the truth is, her Karen reign of terror probably didn’t end there. We know that an angry and flustered Karen is bound to spread her anger to everyone.
