Deranged Florida White Man Gets Fired For Making Racist Remarks Toward Asian Couple: ‘At His Big Age’

He got what he deserved

Don’t you love it when racists finally get what’s coming to them? One unhinged white man in Florida learned the hard way that hateful remarks don’t always go unchallenged. According to a now-viral account, an Asian couple was enjoying their vacation when things took a disgusting turn. While riding in an elevator, two white men stepped in, one of whom immediately made a snide comment to his friend: “Oh look, some Asians.” Sadly, that was just the beginning.

As the two men exited the elevator, the situation escalated. One of them, wearing a black t-shirt, turned around and mockingly said, “Ching Chang Chong.” Real classy.

That was the last straw. The boyfriend stepped out of the elevator, too ready to confront the racist directly.

Backstory: My girlfriend and I, who are Vietnamese, are currently staying at the Royalton Splash Riviera in Cancún. After dinner, we took the elevator up to our room. On the way up, the elevator stopped at the lobby and two men entered. As soon as they saw us, one of them remarked, “Oh look, some Asians.” When they reached their floor and exited, the man in the black shirt turned back as the doors were closing and said, “Ching Chang Chong.” I immediately stopped the doors from closing and stepped out to confront them. As you can see in the video, the man in the black shirt continued making blatantly racist remarks without any shame. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I believe no one should have to experience this type of harassment. By sharing this video, I hope the power of social media can help identify these individuals and hold them accountable. #fyp #stopasianhate #harrased #asian #vietnamese

Instead of the Florida racist feeling ashamed, he keeps his racism going. He tells the Asian guy, “Can you see or can you not?” He does this while still walking away with the man that he had with him. So far, the boyfriend is being nice, and he keeps asking him, “What’s your problem?” His response, though, was also racist as he said, “You guys can’t drive.” He keeps walking away and the boyfriend is still trying to confront him. That’s when he tells the poor guy, “I will come for your ass.” You would have thought that at this point, the White guy would stop talking, but he doesn’t. Instead, he mocks how Asian people speak as well.

Anyone but the innocent boyfriend would have probably started a fight, but he just kept filming. He then told the racist guy that he was going to be famous, and he didn’t mind that. “Yes, I’m sure I am.” Well, he definitely got what he asked for. Immediately, people on the internet identified him as Connor Sanchez, a finance manager at Volkswagen in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Let’s just say that no sane company would keep an employee around after all these racist remarks. Sanchez was fired immediately, as per a statement posted by his previous workplace. He is famous now.

People Reacting to the Racist Florida Man

Everyone who saw the video of the Florida guy helped make his dream of becoming famous come true. After all, hundreds of comments shared personal details about him. What did he expect? Others commented on how he was an adult but still behaved this way. “At his big age,” one person wrote. Another person knew the guy personally, as they said, “Was a friend of Connor. I can say that that’s his father with him. And Connor lives alone in Florida with no family around. Doesn’t even talk to anyone. He’s the type of guy to flaunt on social and hangout with friends who are well made for themselves because he isn’t. Don’t know too much about his dad, been estranged for years until recently. From what I hear from people is his dad is just as much as a POS as him. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”

The hate comments toward the Florida guy kept coming in, and some believed that anyone who would act like this is scared. “He SCAREEEDDDDDD,” one person wrote. Another person found it unfortunate that racism is still out there as they said, “people are getting too comfortable with being racist nowadays. I’m so sorry this happened to you guys.” Yeah, that shouldn’t be happening. Under the video announcing the guy being fired, people were left delighted. Some also confirmed that he was, in fact, fired. “I live in Tampa Bay and have a friend that works at this dealership. Can confirm he is no longer employed there,” one person wrote. There were also comments that wanted to share the guy’s racism with any new company he joins so that he won’t find any job. That’s one way to make him take accountability.
