“Hide yo kids, Hide yo wife,” and now, ‘hide your toes,’ too, as a Florida man ran over a woman after he refused him a foot sniff. Truly, the foot fetish is strong with this one, so strong in fact that he almost killed her for it. The two began their interaction initially with the man meeting up with the woman at a hotel to buy her sneakers, which is slightly bizarre to start with.
According to WPLG Local 10, the Florida man arrived and demanded to smell her feet, which she obviously didn’t feel comfortable with. You’d imagine he’d be satisfied with having her “stinky old sneakers,” but he was adamant about sniffing her toes. Upset, he then ran out into the parking lot, and she reportedly chased after him because she thought he had run off with her shoes. The Florida man then got into his SUV and ran her over. “By the grace of God, I’m still standing today,” she said, miraculously surviving the incident with minor injuries.
Online Users Suspect the Sneaker Seller Isn’t Telling the Whole Story
The foot sniffer is now detained and was charged with aggravated battery. However, some online users think something smells fishy, and not just the woman’s sneakers. “Selling ‘smelly old sneakers’ in a hotel room, yeah, sounds about right,” a commenter remarked with suspicion. “Selling ‘sneakers’? Is that what they’re calling tricks now? Can’t keep up with all these new terms and slangs!” another said in agreement. “She was tricking stop the BS!!” exclaimed a third.
Now, while it’s not proper to be judgmental, the woman did tell Local 10‘s reporter that she’s “met a lot of people who have foot fetishes, obviously,” quite a telling statement, I’d say. But whatever the case, running over people isn’t acceptable either, and if the court found him guilty as charged, then justice must be served. But one Redditor did have some pity for the Florida man, saying, “The poor guy is just looking for his…sole mate!“
