A horrible and disgusting thing is going on currently at Cypress College in California. The college is allowing its employees to abuse and kill cats. Yes, you read that correctly. There’s outrage as people have found evidence that the employees are harming the cats on campus on purpose. For example, one of them hit a cat with a rake, causing it to have two puncture wounds.
Unfortunately, the cat had neck and spine issues due to the attack, and people had to put it down three weeks later. The guy who did this didn’t even feel any remorse. He was filmed trying to look around him to see if anyone saw him attacking the cat. It’s not just that. There is also an employee named Tim Noriega who is filmed putting holes in cats’ water bowls so that they can’t drink.
This vile California college didn’t stop its horrendous acts there. They don’t want the cats to survive. This is why when people try to trap some of the cats to adopt them, the employees throw rocks at them. How can someone be that disgusting? A cat has also been murdered and one was decapitated. Instead of stopping the crimes committed by its employees, the college is denying everything. How can they think this is okay when their employees are caught on camera? Of course, all their posts and videos now have hate comments which is justifiable.
Denying that any cats are being harmed isn’t the only lie the college told. They also sent an email to students saying that they are working with two animal hospitals. Guess what? The two hospitals denied this. Some people also claimed that the college made a news channel take down their report about the crimes happening. This is why the story hasn’t been in the news yet. Their disgusting acts should stop, they should face consequences, and the college president should be held accountable for allowing his employees to do this. If it were only one employee, we could have said that he was acting on his own. However, there are several employees, meaning that this behavior is ordered by the college.
People Reacting to the Vile California College
Public reaction has been fierce, with many expressing outrage over the treatment of the cats. Some responses carried anger to the point of wishing harm on those responsible. One commenter wrote, “Do the same to the employee,” while another added, “If I witnessed it I’d probably do worse.” Others called for accountability in a less hostile way, pressing the institution to respond. “Cypress College needs to come forward and answer,” one person demanded, though the school has so far denied any wrongdoing. Another voice echoed that sentiment with frustration: “This is so sick. Poor babies. Cypress College needs to be held accountable‼‼” For some, the focus remained on the animals themselves, as one person mourned, “That cat just wanted to live.”
One person attempting to expose the California college claimed that the clips circulating online only show part of what’s happening. “This makes me so uncomfortable and sad, but it wasn’t as bad as the other video I witnessed last night. I’ve never seen something that disturbing before done to a cat. I can’t post it on TikTok, but it’s a cat with a broken neck and back. One of the employees did it,” they wrote. The descriptions alone are difficult to stomach. Others expressed relief that at least some of the abuse is being documented. “I’m so glad you got footage of this‼ Action needs to be taken—this is animal cruelty,” one person commented. The hope now is that these recordings will be enough to push the college toward accountability. No animal should ever endure this.
