Imagine sleeping in your house with your family, only for a group of teens to wake you up and leave you terrified. This is what happened to a Georgia family when some teens decided to kick their door to wake them up as a prank. Well, the prank went to another level because they kicked too hard, to the point that they busted the frame. This made the door swing open and also left a hole in the wall. Unfortunately for the family, they were forced to board the door up or it would just keep swinging. These kids didn’t think about how terrifying this could be for any family, especially since it was at night. They were also a group of cowards because they immediately ran away. That’s just infuriating.
The Georgia father also shared how he and his wife felt upset with themselves because they failed to protect their children. That’s a terrible feeling. Thankfully, they plan on getting a better door and also replacing all the doors in their house with something safer. The family also decided to press charges, as the police are now looking for the kids. It’s not just that they kicked the door down, but they chose this house on purpose because the family didn’t have a Ring camera installed. Due to this, the police asked the neighbors to send them any footage they might have. “I hope to teach them a lesson so they do not go out and do it to someone else and get killed,” the father wrote. Well, the kids could have definitely been killed, especially since the family has multiple guns. They are lucky that they didn’t get shot.
People Reacting to the Shameless Georgia Teens
Of course, people were outraged at what the Georgia teens did. This is terrifying for any family. One person saw that this shouldn’t be considered a prank at all. “That’s not a prank, that’s a felony,” they wrote. One Redditor also said, “You can’t just commit any crime and call it a prank to get away with it. This is clearly a home invasion and you should up your security.” They have got a point. Another person then said, “Is it the try not to get shot breaking into peoples homes prank?” It did happen before that kids got shot for such pranks. Someone else named this kind of prank “Don’t get legally murdered challenge.” Not a lot of people would blame the parents if they decided to defend their family. They would believe that it is their right.
More comments came after the Georgia teens, which is reasonable. “I hope you file charges on them, as a joke, and that they end up crying in court in front of a judge, for fun, and spend some time doing community service, like a cool game,” one person wrote. Maybe then they would realize that actions have consequences. Another person believed that OP should definitely report this. “Agreed. You need to report this. Not just for you, but to stop the behavior of these kids before they get shot. It isn’t your responsibility, but letting them slide and hearing that one of them is dead next month will possibly feel pretty shitty,” they said. The kids deserve to face any kind of consequences because next time might not end well for them.
