My dad is a fraternal twin, so he’s never had the joy of pranking me with his sibling when I was younger. I have memories of seeing so many twin prank videos, and always hoping that if it never happened to me, I would be able to at least witness it once in my life. A father and his twin brother in New York were able to take advantage of their similar features when it came to picking up the former’s daughter from school. What’s hilarious is how shocked the teachers were when they realized that the person they released the child to was, in fact, not her father.
TikTok user @twinnsaddd doesn’t really post anything to his profile, with a total of three videos available to watch. However, he was met with a bit of online fame with the above video, showcasing his twin brother going to his daughter’s classroom to pick her up from school. In the video, when the twin brother arrived, the teachers released the young girl to her uncle, revealing that she could tell that he wasn’t get dad. However, when the camera turned the corner to see the teacher’s reactions, we find out that they were as surprised as the twins had hoped the young girl would be.
The look on their faces was that of utter shock and horror. Of course, there’s nothing to be scared of when it comes to twins, but it’s what the teachers did that really scared them. When a parent comes to pick up their child, they would typically need to be verified beforehand to ensure that they are eligible to pick up said child. So, in this scenario, the teachers basically gave up the child to the wrong person without checking beforehand. Of course, the entire situation was just a prank, so no one is in jeapordy of losing their jobs, but the situation is still hilarious nonetheless.
