It can be unsettling to discover that something you ordered never made it inside your home because someone took it right off your porch. What makes it scarier is when they are not afraid to steal from you in broad daylight and out in the open. A woman in Louisiana just experienced this, and her home security camera caught the entire moment on video.
In the clip, an elderly man is seen riding a bicycle up her curved brick walkway sometime in the afternoon. He stops at the doorstep, bends down, and quickly grabs a large box, which the woman later explained contained a pool cleaner. The package proved difficult for him to manage, as the heavy box nearly toppled off his bike several times. He even paused to adjust the other belongings he was carrying, which are believed to have been stolen as well. After some struggle, the man awkwardly turned his bike around in the narrow space and rode away with the box.
The homeowner later shared that police were able to track him down and recover her package. She also learned that the man had listed her item for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
