A beautiful night in Indiana turned sour after a shocking racial incident occurred outside of a Bob Evans restaurant as two Black teenagers were set up and selling candy as a way to raise funds for their church. Unfortunately, one man had to cause a scene, and it escalated when the confrontation turned into a conversation about race. What followed was a disgusted display of racism that was caught on camera by another customer in the parking lot.
In the TikTok video, the confrontation seemed to start when a white man from Brownsburg, Indiana, exited the restaurant and had words with the two teens selling candy outside. The man seemingly got angry after one of them said, “God bless you.”
That’s when the real drama began. The restaurant patron was obviously angry and began to yell at the teens, even accusing them of selling the candy so that they could “buy drugs.” However, they stood up for themselves, revealing that they were collecting money for their church, and even reprimanded the man for his insults.
Indiana Man Shocks The Internet With Racist Behavior Toward Teens
Things escalated from there, when the white man began using racial slurs, calling the two teenagers the N-word and “monkeys.” He even commented on their hair, and later told them to “take their Black a–es down the road.”
“We about to throw hands. Go!” he yelled at them as they decided to walk away from the confrontation. “Now you’re going to get me going racist,” he says. To make matters worse, the man’s children were standing in the parking lot and watched the entire scene unfold.
The person who filmed the shocking and heartbreaking video is now hoping that the racist man can be identified.
“PLEASE track this guy down! This just happened in my hometown. So sad!! It’s heartbreaking. They poor kids were just out selling chocolate for their church! Help us find the kids too, so we can buy all the candy bars & help the church!! There has to be some sort of consequences for his actions!!!! These are kids he was talking to!!” the caption of the video read.
Of course, the internet was horrified by the man’s disgusting, racist behavior. “That dude has lost his mind,” one person commented. “Wow, he is a despicable, horrible human. And unfortunately, he will raise his kids to be racist just like him,” another wrote. “This is so sad this country we live in. Just leave people alone,” a third comment read.
This Indiana man is currently becoming public enemy number one on TikTok, and his horrible behavior will continue to haunt him now that he’s been exposed on the internet.
