Another day, another meltdown caught on camera, this time starring a so-called Male Karen from Texas who apparently decided a gated entrance was his final boss fight.
The clip shows a man erupting at a younger security officer tasked with operating a gate. The scene begins with the driver storming out of his car, aggressively demanding, “WHO THE F** ARE YOU?”* again and again at the bewildered guard– notably a Black man just doing his job.
The tirade escalates until a second, older security guard calmly steps in. Instead of matching the man’s hostility, the veteran officer diffuses the situation with surprising composure, even wishing him a “good day” as he guides him back toward his vehicle.
But the man wasn’t done. He returned to his car only to climb out once more, this time vowing to “teach you a lesson”, as though the young guard had personally wronged him by not opening the gate fast enough. Meanwhile, the person filming from another car could be heard laughing at the absurdity of the performance.
The meltdown, posted to Reddit, has already sparked a wave of commentary and mockery. One top-voted quip summed it up: “This dude acting like the gate is the final boss he has to defeat.” Another joked, “Who the f** are you? The dude who can open and subsequently close the gate.”* Others piled on with observations like, “Steroids/TRT make men so emotional” and, “I’m going to teach you a lesson! Probably ‘Ethics and Morality in the Modern World,’ class is in session.”
For many, the clip was another reminder that entitlement and rage can turn the most mundane inconvenience into a public spectacle, and Texas just supplied the latest example.
