Ohio Influencer Shares Hilarious Moment With Her Naughty Cockatoo: ‘So, Can He Watch Hamilton?’

Did I do that

A collage depicting an Ohio woman with her cockatoo. The left image features her bird in his cage, saying he's "sorry to bite." The right image shows the same cockatoo, sitting outside of his cage. The middle image is his owner, who goes by Robin Taylor on her TikTok channel.

Animals have the ability to bring humans back from the hard things that once seemed to heavy to bear. When it comes to her cockatoo Furby, an Ohio author and TikTok influencer knows this all too well.

Robin Taylor runs the TikTok channel @furbythebirb, where she shares the hilarious antics of he talking cockatoo. Robin, who has a chronic neurological disorder called Cauda Equina syndrome, often credits Furby for saving what she terms a “life unraveled” by her uncommon diagnosis. Even still, Furby’s not perfect, and he gets himself in trouble with his naughty ways.

On September 16th, Robin posted a video of Furby apologizing to her from his indoor cage. The bird appears remorseful, if only for a moment. Then, he reveals his true motive for owning up to his mischievous ways:

I’m sorry to bite. Did I do that? I want to watch Hamilton.

Furby confesses, as Robin explains that biting her was wrong. He asks if he’s a good boy. Once she confirms that he is, he pleads even harder to start watching Hamilton, his favorite stage production.

“I’ll show you I’m sorry,” he tells her. Robin accepts his apology, but tells him he cannot watch Hamilton until he goes another day without biting any more fingers.

“Oh shoot,” Furby mourns, before vowing that he will not be biting again.

Robin and Furby have almost 400,00 followers on their social platform. Viewers have fallen in love with their story, which is a pleasant reprieve from the anarchy that often floods their daily TikTok FYPs.

“Why does this video make me so happy?” one viewer asks in the comments.

Many others voted for a Hamilton pass, just this once.

We’re happy to see the strong bond between Furby and his adoptive Ohio-based family. All it takes is one creator promoting feel-good stories, to bring joy to the masses online.
