One of the most painful things that women go through is pregnancy. During that time, women need to rest and avoid heavy chores that could make them tired even more. This is when the husband is supposed to come in and help. A lazy Texas man didn’t do that at all. What he did instead was to film his wife, who is 39 weeks pregnant, while she was cleaning the shower. It’s not just that she was cleaning it, but she was on her hands and knees to scrub it. Instead of letting her rest and doing this chore, the husband decided to film her. “Somebody’s gotta do it,” she tells him while she is on the ground cleaning. I don’t think that his wife doing this is something he should be proud of. What he should have felt instead was guilt for not helping.
It’s not just the fact that the Texas husband let his pregnant wife clean, but there is also the fact that this isn’t safe. Dealing with cleaning products and fumes while pregnant is known as something dangerous that should be avoided. Any reasonable person would be upset at what the husband did, but it turns out that the wife doesn’t care. She posted another video defending him and saying that she was the one who wanted to clean the house. According to her, this is nesting. I don’t think that inhaling chemicals is part of nesting thought. However, if she’s happy, then no one can really try to defend her or criticize her husband.
People Reacting to the Lazy Texas Husband
While the Texas wife wasn’t upset by what her husband did, people were definitely mad. One woman believed that the fact that the man filmed this video of his wife didn’t show him in a positive light. “Oh that’s embarrassing for him,” she wrote. Another woman asked in disbelief, “Help her?….” There was also a pregnant woman who shared her own experience as she said, “ummm. My husband does this rn. Bc he doesn’t want us around the chemicals. Your husband should be doing this.” Another pregnant woman agreed and wrote, “Thank god my husband has been doing this kind of work at our home to prep….. cause she’s right, someone has to do it… and it shouldn’t be the 39 week pregnant woman.”
The Texas wife proceeded to claim that the cleaning products she was using weren’t toxic which made someone else say, “You still could slip and fall. Literally can’t a man just scrub a shower for once????!!!!!!!” That’s a good point. Since a lot of women were defending the wife, one woman said that it’s not worth it. “Ladies save ur breath.. shes just going to defend him,” she wrote. Well, the wife did defend her husband. There was also one person who believed that the video was embarrassing to both the husband and wife, and not just one. “This is embarrassing for both of yall. The man for letting his wife do that at 39 weeks (lets not even get into how the chemicals may be harmful to her) and the woman who is letting her husband treat her like that,” they wrote. Let’s just hope that this won’t be dangerous for her or her baby.
