While many people may have issues with Airbnb hosts, sometimes the hosts themselves are the victims. This happened in New York when a disgusting couple rented an Airbnb and left it almost destroyed. Once the owners entered the home after the renters’ visit duration ended, they noticed the horrible smell that was everywhere. It took the renters one month to leave the unit almost unrecognizable. There was dried blood over several surfaces, including furniture. I honestly don’t want to know where it came from. It seemed like this wasn’t surprising since they even had their clothes and belongings in trash bags. There was also feces left on the carpets, but the owners hope that it belongs to the couple’s cat. It won’t be a surprise if the feces belonged to a human, given the condition the unit was left in.
You start feeling a little bad about what happened in the New York Airbnb once the owners shared their belief that the couple was in an abusive relationship; this would explain the blood. They did hear screaming sometimes, and you just wonder why they didn’t call the police. Let’s hope that no one was hurt on purpose. Along with the blood and feces, there was also urine on pillows and sheets. So, of course, the owners had to throw away all of the sheets. Even the bathroom looked absolutely disgusting. How could anyone live there for a month? At the end, the owners had to pay $1700 to get everything fixed. Thankfully, one of the renter’s family members gave the hosts $2000 to cover the damages. With everything taken into consideration, the owners should have called the police.
People Reacting to the Disgusting New York Renters
It doesn’t take a genius to realize that something terrible happened in the Airbnb. The amount of blood left by the New York renters is enough to indicate so. This is why one person wrote, “This might be a crime scene.” Since it did look bad, some comments mentioned that the owners should have called the police, as someone said, “Ummm police maybe …” One of the owners’ response was just as mysterious as the whole thing since she said, “it’s been handled.” Well, it doesn’t look like the police have been involved at all. This is why another person replied and wrote, “I mean in your next video, everything was thrown out how’d the police take care of with.. that’s could be so serious.” Maybe the owners cared more about their unit than about what happens to those who rent it.
More people believed that the New York Airbnb owners should have called the police. One person found it weird that they didn’t do so even after hearing screaming. “Y’all heard screaming….inside a place that you are using as an Airbnb and didn’t call the police at any point or even go check on them yourselves?” they asked. The same owner who replied earlier defended herself and her partner and said, “Couples argue, we hear our neighbors argue. It didn’t require a 9-1-1 phone call. And we did check in with them to make sure they were fine.” It also turned out that it was the woman in the couple who was causing “all the drama.” Even if that’s the case, her boyfriend could have been badly injured. The entire situation is terrifying.
