When it comes to politics, people can become quite irrational, especially when irrationality is actively encouraged by those in office. That said, a homeowner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, had put up a sign with the sarcastic remark: “Are we great again?” Clearly, it’s poking fun at those who voted for Trump, given the country’s current state of being far from anything great. However, the Trump supporters next door certainly took it personally and put up a few yard signs of their own, which, unfortunately for them, was just embarrassing.
In retaliation against their neighbor’s targeted question, the Trump voter placed signs in their yard, claiming that America was indeed great again, courtesy of the President’s quotes. The MAGA fan put another sign, denouncing the one beside the neighbor’s front door, which said to “Protect Democracy.” To complete their little public statement attacking their neighbor, the Trump supporter finished their collection of signs with one laying out a bunch of other anti-Democrat propaganda.
“It’s funny when neighbors do things like this,” laughed OP, posting this photo of what appears to be their two neighbors having a subdued political battle between each other. “It’s goofy as hell that people are accusing the current democrat party of being ‘socialist,’ remarks a comment, with replies saying the Republican voter probably doesn’t even fully understand what the term means. Another added how they’re probably just copying Trump’s use of “scare words” to get his supporters riled up, such as when he referred to Harris as a “Marxist fascist socialist” during his campaign.
Another user added how it’s “absolutely f*cking weird to worship a president so much.” Not to mention all the issues that the administration has caused, yet people still seem to fervently and almost religiously adore the current President. The “Are we great again?” sign invokes a question that many people, including big celebrities like Ariana Grande, are asking Trump voters. Things have gotten worse for everyone, not just Democrats, since the latest inauguration. Yet, some people are still holding onto hope that their ‘chosen one’ will still make something great out of the mess that has become of the political climate and economy.
