You would think that after one Karen got canceled for stealing from a kid at a game, no one would repeat the same mistake. Apparently, not everyone thinks like that. A new Karen appeared in New Jersey during a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Giants. At the end of the game, the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes headed to the stands where the woman was sitting. Right next to her, there was a 10-year-old boy with his family who was there to celebrate his birthday. Well, Mahomes had his eyes on the kid as he was giving him his headband. It’s easy to guess what the Karen did. She snatched the headband out of the kid’s hands. You could hear the heartbreak in his voice when he told her “You stole that from me.”
Instead of the New Jersey Karen feeling bad, she came on TikTok and defended herself. She said that she didn’t steal anything despite the fact that the kid told her that she stole the headband. Plus, anyone could see her putting her hand on the headband while the kid was touching it and then pulling it away. After facing an insane amount of backlash, she finally decided to apologize. Her apology didn’t make sense, though, because she said that she felt horrible when she found out that the headband was for the kid. Wasn’t she the one who posted a video saying that she didn’t steal anything? So it seemed like she only apologized because people came after her. She currently plans to give the kid the headband back. She could have simply let him have it instead of letting all of this happen.
People Reacting to the Disgusting New Jersey Karen
No one was happy with what the New Jersey Karen did. So it was expected that she would get a lot of hate. Since a lot of similar situations had happened recently, one person wrote, “I’m so sick of people like this.” Another person also wondered why adults are stealing from kids, as they said, “My god what is with these adults taking things away from kids.” That’s a good thing to ask. Someone else wished that athletes would intervene when something like this happens. “I wish the athletes would notice this and make them give it back to the kid,” they wrote. Others thought the same thing as one person also said, “I saw this on TV. I hope Patrick sees this.” That would actually be great if it happened.
More people attacked the New Jersey Karen following her behavior. A lot of people found it weird that the woman, who is a Giants fan, would want anything from a Chiefs player. That’s why one person wrote, “The fact that she’s not even a chiefs fan” Another person then said, “A Giants fan by the way…taking a Mohomes headband…..from a kid.” Someone else also asked, “Why’s the giants fan want Chiefs stuff.” Some people tried to guess why she would even do this. “Just so they can sell it… they rather be greedy jerks rather than watch a FAN make a core memory,” one person wrote. This could be possible. There were more extreme reactions as some comments called the Karen insulting names. For example, someone wrote, “That’s [expletive] ridiculous, greedy [expletive] people smh.” Hopefully, she learned not to do this again.
