When you’re on a flight, you have your fingers crossed that nothing bad will happen. Unfortunately, a lot of bad things can definitely happen. Passengers on a flight that was supposed to take off from Atlanta weren’t lucky enough to actually take off. This is all thanks to a woman on the flight with them. In a video taken by one of the passengers, you could see one of the flight attendants asking the woman to get up and leave. She immediately refused and didn’t even want to go to the front of the plane to discuss the matter. For some reason, she told the flight attendant and a man who was there too that it was her birthday. So are you supposed to stay there as a birthday gift or what?
When the Atlanta woman kept refusing, the man made it clear that if she didn’t get off, he would have to call the Atlanta police. She didn’t seem worried about going to jail. In fact, she opted to call her lawyer rather than getting off the flight. Once again, she repeated that it was her birthday. Now that’s an excuse I have never heard of. When the man approached her again, she said that no one was going to touch her. You don’t get to know why they want her off the flight, but she definitely did something because the flight attendants didn’t want her there anymore. After a lot of back and forth, the man told her that she would spend her birthday in jail. What a great way to celebrate it.
The woman kept refusing to get off because she wanted them to show her the protocols that said she had to get off. She would have saved everyone a lot of time if she had just listened. It is okay with me if she ruined her day, but why did she have to ruin everyone’s day with her? The flight attendant then told her that if she didn’t come with her, she would have to make everybody get off the plane. She told her to do it. So unfortunately for everyone on the flight, they had to get off the plane. Well, they didn’t like that. You could hear one woman saying, “Get your [expletive] off this plane,” in reference to the insane passenger. The video ended by then so you don’t get to know how they dealt with her. I imagine that it didn’t end nicely, however.
People Reacting to the Insane Atlanta Woman
The way the Atlanta woman behaved definitely didn’t impress people. Just imagining being one of the passengers who had to get off because of one person is enough to get annoyed. Since she would probably end up on the no-fly list, one person wrote, “That no fly list ain’t no joke.” Another person thought that being unable to travel by plane is terrible as they said, “Only being able to travel by car, train, or bus is not the way to go.” While the video ended early, some people were more familiar with the situation. “She got arrested. That no fly list is my worst nightmare,” one woman wrote. That isn’t surprising at all. She could have just gotten off the plane and booked another flight.
More people came after the Atlanta woman as a lot of comments mocked her. Since she kept repeating that it was her birthday, people had to talk about that. “Why do adults believe their birthday means anything to anyone?” one person asked. Another person joked and said, “What a horrible airline! She said it’s her birthday, why didn’t the crew instruct the other passengers to start singing happy birthday ?” Someone else wanted to know what she did as they asked, “what started all of this? I’m just curious? Was she mad because nobody sang happy birthday?” Whatever it was, it seemed serious. She is probably still telling everyone she comes across that it’s her birthday. I don’t think they would offer a birthday cake in jail, though.
