With countless disagreements, altercations, and just downright bad interactions, most are bound to get filmed. Well, that’s exactly what happens when this California MAGA Karen begins harassing an innocent couple. In a TikTok video posted by the account @Iamxmikeymartin, viewers see the encounter firsthand. With the clip having over 200,000 views and 15,000 likes, it has appeared to hit viral status.
The TikTok begins with the man recording, already having a heated exchange with the MAGA Karen. The California couple seems to be trying to enjoy their meal while this is all happening. While it is unclear what started this altercation, the video’s caption provides some clarity. The caption states that the woman in the pro-Trump shirt had gotten into the California man’s wife’s face. She would also allegedly ask if they “had a problem.” This is what prompted the man to start recording the encounter
California MAGA Karen Freaks Out At Restaurant
Once the woman understands she is being recorded, she even throws up a peace sign and a smug little smile. However, that smile would soon fade once the restaurant’s staff would get involved. The Karen would freak once the man started filming her, and even tried to say that they were “harassing her.” Although since the woman had allegedly started this issue, she was asked to leave by management.
This would clearly upset the woman as she would then let out that “MAGA madness,” as one TikTok commenter described it. The California Karen would then make a huge scene while gathering her things. However, the entire time, the man filming can be heard repeatedly saying “bye.” The man’s wife, on the other hand, was not about the altercation. She can be heard asking her husband to stop multiple times.
Finally, after the situation continued to escalate, the man and his wife were also asked to leave. The worker then states that she will indeed get security if she has to. After the threat of calling security, the TikTok cuts off, and the California couple presumably leaves the establishment. Although, unfortunately, there is no way of telling how this story ends. While having different political views is okay, stuff like this is over the line. Next time, both individuals should maybe avoid each other to prevent this from happening again. This was not the time nor the place to get into a full-blown argument.
