There is no doubt that a lot of crazy things happen almost everywhere in America. One such place is Philadelphia. When there, you can expect to see insane things happening all around you. A recent example took place there when a SEPTA bus driver got into an argument with a woman. It wasn’t clear what started the argument because there were different points of view, but the result was still insane.
Apparently, the woman didn’t like how the driver was treating the kids on the bus, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. Instead of simply defending them and going on her way, she got her leg locked between the bus’s doors. If it wasn’t for the fact that there is some kind of padding between the two doors, I would have said that this must have hurt.
The crazy Philadelphia bus driver wasn’t exactly keen on letting the woman go. You could hear the woman asking the driver several times to open the doors so that she could free her leg. The driver, however, didn’t seem fazed at all. According to the person who filmed the video, the driver kept the doors closed until the cops arrived. They also said that the cops got everyone off the bus and moved them into another one. The situation could have been more serious.
Aside from seeing the woman outside the bus with her leg between the doors, there is also another point of view from inside the bus. In that video, you could see the woman pointing at her leg and filming as well. She was also yelling at the driver telling her that she was going to get fired.
People Reacting to the Crazy Philadelphia Bus Driver
Those who were with the woman claimed that she could sue the bus driver and the company, too. “Oh hell naw super lawsuit,” one person wrote. Another person described how they would have acted in this situation as they said, “My check would have been so high I would dropped n said he dragged me !” Someone else did the exact same thing. “Oh see i woulda still been standing there right now only way im moving is if that check in my account,” they wrote. Others found it funny that the woman kept telling passengers on the bus to record her leg inside the doors and then airdrop the video to her phone. She might have been thinking about a lawsuit too.
Some comments focused on whether the Philadelphia driver was going to get fired or not. “funny thing is she 100% right, that driver bout to get fired,” one person wrote. Not everyone agreed with this as another person said, “I guarantee you that bus driver is not getting fired.” That might be possible. If the driver thought she was going to get in trouble, she would have opened the doors. Someone else believed that the woman wasn’t even hurting so there is nothing to complain about here. “The driver will not get fired tho. It’s padding on the doors on those buses bc of stuff like this. She’s not hurting at all,” they wrote. I think that the worst case scenario would be them getting a warning, and that’s it. So the woman might need to look for another lawsuit.
